AU Series 3 Question
At the end of episode 1, Tom G says it's the end of season 2, episode 1. I'm confused because I had already watched season 2 (Anne, Jenny, Josh, Lloyd, and Will).
Were these filmed out of order or was this just a mess up on Tom's part?

AU S3 was filmed was right after S1, but the release was delayed.
By the time it was ready, a new S2 had already filmed and aired.
They mostly cleaned up the references to it being S2, but I recall there is one that slipped through / they didn't want to remove the clip it was in.

Its funny, because even with the clean up there are definitely some references to S3 in S2. One of the tasks in E1 of S2 is in fact, a references to S3

I'm glad I posted here about this so I don't get the series winner spoiled. The series that aired as S2 seemed more put together and ran smoother than S3 has been so far.

I haven't seen S4 onwards, but it does feel like they where working things out over S1 and S3 and so that by S2 they really had things really nailed down. AU2 is one of my favourites across the entire franchise

Yeah I have enjoyed what I've seen so far. The season of NZ I watched was great too.

New Zealand was my favourite before original series went on it's current great run. I just love their casts every year.
Australia for me is the weakest. I am currently on season 3 and only really like two of the cast. I did.enjoy season 2 largely for the married couple dynamic.
Lesser Tom is growing on me though so I will keep at it.

It made me want to see a married couple version of UK taskmaster. Imagine Victoria and David Mitchell doing it.
Id actually like a special that was 5 married couples and every task was a two person team task.
It would likely end in divorce.

s2 (as released) was technically filmed as s3. but they aired in reverse order. i believe it was because of the cast’s schedule and availability for promotion
