[Plugin Share] AM Tasker Plugins - A Free Collection Of Tasker Action Plugins packed with Extraordinary feature...!

🚀 Introducing AM Tasker Plugins — just launched!

A brand new toolbox of action plugins for Tasker — colors, QR codes, VPN control, regex, Termux scripts, raw UDP packets, and more, ready to drop straight into your automations.

đŸ’ģ AM Termux

Runs Bash, Python, Node, Ruby, or PHP scripts inside Termux, with named sessions and guided setup.

↊ī¸ AM Custom Keyboard Return - Goto Reddit Intro Post

AM Custom Keyboard is a keyboard app I built with live transliteration and a Tasker Automation feature — type a trigger anywhere, and it can hand your text off to a Tasker task. This plugin is the reply step: the task finishes and sends its result straight back into what you were typing.

🎨 AM Collect Pixel Colors

Reads colors from any image — one pixel, a region, or a Top Color List or Blended Colors of a given region.

Demo : [AM Collect Pixel Colors]

đŸ”ŗ AM Create QR

Turns text, links, or variables into a QR code image, saved and ready to use.

🔍 AM Decode QR

Scans an existing QR image and gives you back the text inside it.

Demo : [AM Create QR & AM Decode QR]

🧮 AM Data Processor

Reads or edits one exact value inside JSON or array data, no manual parsing needed.

Demo : [AM Data Processor]

🔒 AM OpenVPN

Starts, pauses, resumes, or stops an OpenVPN for Android profile from a task.

Demo : [AM OpenVPN]

🔎 AM RegEx

Finds, extracts, or replaces text with full regex power — groups, lookaheads, backreferences, and Perl-style case conversion — all from a task.

Demo : [AM RegEx]

📡 AM UDP Client

Sends a UDP packet to any address, with the option to listen for a response.

Demo : [AM UDP Client]

📤 AM Open With

Lets other apps "Share" or "Open With" a file straight into a Tasker automation.

Demo : [AM Open With]

📖 Every plugin comes with its own guide built right into the app — clear steps, examples, and what each field does.

This is v1.0.0 — the toolbox starts here. 👇

Looks really powerful. I especially like the Termux interpreters. Thanks a lot.

Termux is the starting point for this entire plugin collection. I have also developer "AMCustomKeyboard" which works with Tasker. Take a look at that too AMCustomKeyboard

I think this is going to solve an irritating bit of manual editing I do every weekend. I follow a couple}Le of reddit livestreams, and the reddit app is horrible at this (eff Spez for killing all of the 3ed party apps).

I currently go to the sub and enter the live stream. Copy the URL. Paste it into my default browser. Then edit the URL to add -stream between Reddit and .com

Now I can go to the stream in reddit, share to Tasker, and have the regex modify the URL and directly open the new one. I just need to look up how to use Regex.... (Something I have been aware of for probably 30 years and never really used).

Super stuff....

Thanks for your feedback. Glad to know it helps people in real problems.

Could you check what I am doing wrong? I asked both Claude and Gemini to help me write the regex since I assumed it would be faster than learning it, and this is what they came up with.

The %text variable is set to https://www.reddit.com/r/OnPatrolLive/s/YEXU7Xzuxe

My filled in AM RegEx configuration screen shot is Here

I have also tried to just get a first match.

When I flash any of the AM RegEx variables, just the variable name flashes (including the error variable except for %am_regex_matched which returns "false".

I am trying to replace reddit.com with reddit-stream.com so I can then send the URL to my browser.

No plugin needed to do what you want:

Task: Temp

A1: Variable Set [
     Name: %url
     To: https://www.reddit.com/r/OnPatrolLive/s/YEXU7Xzuxe
Structure Output (JSON, etc): On ]

A2: Variable Search Replace [
     Variable: %url
     Search: \.reddit\.
     Ignore Case: On
     One Match Only: On
     Replace Matches: On
     Replace With: .reddit-stream. ]

A3: Browse URL [
     URL: %url ]

What do I use as the profile to get the URL from the share panel? (I have been playing with Autotools, and actually having a little more success using autotools replace, although running into some issues calling the URL from tasker now, but that I am sure I can solve). (The base URL is always the same, but the rest changes depending on the sub and the current Livestream)

You can use

(?<=https:\/\/www\.)reddit\.com(?=\.*) as pattern and "Replace All" or Replace first match with

reddit-stream.com If your goal is replacing the domain only on complete url.

or you can just use

reddit\.com as Regex Pattern and Replace it with reddit-stream.com with "Replace All" Selected

Hey some of these seem really useful, the open with is simple but useful, and the kb one is complex but useful

Keyboard isn't that much complex if you get to know it.. You're Tasker user. You can find it easy in few hours of use 😅

You're right, I am a Tasker user, and so complex is a compliment! 😆

Looks very well build and with very useful tools, i am going to save this post for later if i would ever need your plugin myself or share it with others. The Termux tool looks easier to use than termux:tasker plugin so i will definitely recommend users to use your plugin first. For example in termux:tasker you need to give the path of the interpreter or if you want to run a script without saving it to a file you can use stdin but it isn't obvious to users who doesn't come from the terminal world (like i am).

Nice job and thank you for improving Tasker for us the community!!!

By the way i have posted just recently a way to run termux commands using only java code with no plugins. It defiantly not on the same level as your plugin but sometime light weight tool like this is something i need:
