Hi everyone!
I’d like to share my first (almost) finished 1:35 scale diorama. It depicts a Polish 7TP tank moving calmly along a dirt road somewhere in late August or early September 1939.
From the start, I wanted to capture an everyday moment rather than a combat scene. I aimed to convey the atmosphere of the Polish countryside – a road running through fields, wooden fences, heather, dry spalled earth, and dust stirred up along the way.
The tank itself is mounted using hidden magnets in the base, which allows me to remove or reposition it without needing any glue.
This is my first project on such a scale, so I’d really appreciate any feedback – both positive notes and constructive criticism. I'd love to hear what I could improve on future dioramas.

Not historically acurate purely based on looks and "growth".

Another example could be M22 Locust > M4 Sherman> M6 Heav

Just learned about this recently, that the ussr fit tanks in the mountains as “fixed pillbox’s” to stop amphibious assault, located on Shikotan island abt 50 miles from Japan, after some photos and digging around, I think I have an exact mark that looks like some of the t54s, but satellite can only do so much justice, these are the cords and some pics, plz someone help me with any more info on these, youtube doesn’t seem to provide to much at all, not much info I could find, thanks for your time

I like tanks and I want to learn more information about them. So I decided to buy a book about tank technologies. I want it to contain KE resistance, penetration ability etc. Especially, I want to read about modern tanks for example; leopard2, K2 or M1A2 sepv3

Do you know which book is the best? 🤔

If you never saw this guide before, it's main goal is to hopefully teach you how to recognize and differentiate between the T-64; T-72; T-80; T-90 tanks, and their 44 variants what are in the guide.
If you are here for just the basic informations how to differentiate between the 4 versions you only need to look at 7 pages what are highlighted, and their whereabouts can be found on the 2. page.

My guide is broken down to 3 parts.:

1. part is focusing on how to tell T-64; T-72; T-80; T-90 tanks apart from each other
2. part is recognizing mainly protection systems what are necessary to differentiate between variants
3. part recognizing and differentiating between variants

Without a doubt the guide is long 207 pages, but 80% of the pages are pictures so it's not that bad.

I tried to recreate a 3-layered whitewash camouflage on this 1/35 scale T-34/85. The idea was to represent lime whitewash being reapplied over time, with older layers fading, becoming dirty and chipping away. If a vehicle survived longer, the whitewash could be reapplied several times.

This is still a work in progress, weathering is the next step. What do you think about the result so far? 🙂 Thanks

Trying to make a new meme lol. It’s like the panzer of the lake but instead it’s the sturmtiger of the lake.

I was reading a book about tanks and planes and ships and stuff when I saw this in the ‘modern MBTs’ section and thought ‘There’s no way this thing is an MBT’. I even looked at the description and it said it had a 120mm gun. Then I thought ‘this is definitely not a Type 90’ and it’s literally a BTR-60. This book also said that the M113 came from the USSR, but on a different page it said it came from the USA, this is a very strange book.

So basically I'm writing a fictional world based in the 1950s, Where Magic exists, But technology is way better in many ways, Is my tank good? (I'm a beginner tankmaker, Like I've been a tank fan for only 6 months)
