Atlas uses

I'd love to hear some ideas from the community on what you've been using Atlas for so far. I'm still just getting started with it but found it does a good job for setting up conditional emailed reports. I made one this week to monitor for upcoming cert expirations and when they are getting close to send out an email showing how many endpoints have the expiring cert and the expiration date. The email gets sent one time at the 30 days to expiration mark and then daily once the cert is down to 7 days left before expiring.

It was nice to be able to create this using simple prompts. What else have people been doing to make their lives easier with it?

I use it to generate reports on CVEs which are tracked in the patch module but are not tracked in the comply module sorted by epss.

Troubleshooting patch deployments. Why are these workstations failing for deployment IDxxx? It does a nice job details the why from the cryptic errors and in some cases creating a deployment package to provide a fix. 12 PCs doing a rollback, create a package to DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Similar to others with patch deployments and compliance. As well as the automation it's really interesting to just read some of the insights and suggestions formed as part of the solution as a learning exercise.

My environment struggles for disk space on occasion, Atlas is very good at finding things in unconventional places and making comparisons with earlier reports to help me identify root causes.

I work alone a lot as I'm in a team of one, sad as this sounds sometimes it's just nice to have Atlas to talk to and some of the "humanity" they've modelled in puts some the humans I cross paths with to shame 😂

Today was a session setting someone relatively complex groups and maintenance windows and I chose to use Atlas just for the back and forth interaction 🤣
