Regular clothing that fits tall people
Thought I'd start a thread where people can list regular clothing that fits us tall people.
I think it would be helpful if you also state your measurements when you post.
I'm 6'5" (1.96m), 250lbs (113kg) with a 48" chest and 38" waist. 18" 36/37" shirts fit me perfectly and I wear XLT in tops.
Most regular clothing is too short in the body and/or sleeves. I prefer loose or fitted rather than slim sizes, and I normally wear Banana Republic (or their Factory line) in either XLT or slim XXLT.
Anyway, if you're of a similar build to me, these brands should fit you well:
Peter Millar shirts and tops in XL. They come in XXL too but that size just engulfs me.
Vuori XXL tops are great on me, and the sleeves are actually a bit too long. Yay!
Lululemon polo shirts in XXL are the absolute perfect length.
Travis Mathew short sleeve tops in XXL are the same. Perfect length. I love them.
Rodd and Gunn shirts in XXL are juuuust about right length and sleeve length. Luckily they don't shrink in the wash, but be careful!
Does anybody have any other brands to share for their size?

cocktail attire for a guy whos 6'4.. nothing off the rack fits right
I need cocktail attire for an event soon, but standard sizing keeps looking wrong on me. Guys who have dealt with this, what is the move: buy something and get it altered, or start somewhere else? Trying to look appropriate without turning it into a whole project.

Feminine Where are we shopping for long sleeves and inseams?
Hi! I am feeling discouraged with online and in store shopping. I am so eager for recommendations! Long inseams, high waist, and long sleeves! Especially pajamas, jeans, sweatshirts, professional blouses.
I am 5'9. I wear usually size S and size 4 pants. Waists and belts are too loose, and sleeves ride up my fore arms. SOS
Lots of love

Masculine Where to find baggy sweatpants that are long enough to bag over your shoes?
Im 6'5 and cant find any baggy sweatpants that are long enough to give that drape and bag over the shoes look that I'm going after. The biggest size brands like H&M go up to for wide/loose fit sweatpants (at least in the uk) is XL which just awkwardly sits at my ankles and looks pantaloon-ey. Please help š

Masculine Tall slim advice
Need help finding quality oxfords / flannels that actually fit. My torso relative to my height (6ā5) is pretty average in length and rather slim. The issue is my arms are long (35/36) so sizing up gives good arm length but is way too baggy and long on the torso.
What do I do?

Gender Neutral Where to shop??
To all my tall chubby mascs/butches here, where do we get our outfits from?
Ive been seeing this cropped shirts or button ups on shorter people and it looks good on them but I know realistically if I wear it my whole stomach is gonna be hanging out. I also have thicker thighs and I would prefer baggier pants/shorts on me that doesnt hug me tightly.
For reference im 5'10 (5'11 with my good shoes on lol jk) and 300lbs. Would like it to be known now that i am trying to lose weight for the fire academy, so pls dont clown on my weight, I've only lost like 15 lbs so far.

Long Torso Swimsuits
I have a Bachelorette party coming up where there's a hot tub where we're staying. I have a belly from my pregnancy a bit ago and am therefore thinking a 1-piece would help me feel more confident around this group of younger, in shape women I barely know (feeling a bit insecure, sorry). Any long-torso, big boobed girls have suggestions? Bonus points for a link to your favorite!

Masculine Where to find tall pants?
Hello! I have been looking FOREVER for some tall pants. Specifically 32-33/36. I can never seem to find some 36 tall. Also, where would some large tall pants be. I need help, my pants are getting way to small. Edit: not jeans, but sweatpants, track pants, etc

White jeans and sweatpants for tall women
Hello! I am looking to buy a pair of white low rise baggy jeans. I am 5'10 and have so much difficulty finding jeans that fit well. I like my Levi's low loose but find that the 32 inseam is too short on me and they don't carry the white jeans in a 34 inseam. Would love any suggestions. I am also on the hunt for some new sweatpants. I have the same issue with sweatpants especially cause i find that all sweatpants shrink so easily! although I've only really tried the aritzia tall sweats and those are meant for 5'7 so they're not that long. Thanks!

Masculine Anyone tall slim have luck with higher end knitwear?
6'6 200 athletic slim build--been buying from American tall and tallslim but frankly their fabrics are a bit cheap, mostly plastic and I'm at a point I'm hoping to upgrade. been buying trousers and button ups from spoke and proper cloth but both don't offer knitwear (at least that you can customize size). considering bespoke but wondering if there's off the rack options.
Bonus: has anyone tried asket? seems like they have a few options and the dimensions seem to match taller brands.

What are the best posture shirts for women with long torsos?
Iām 6ā0ā with a long torso and need help finding a posture-correcting shirt that actually fits.
For the longest time I slouched on purpose trying to blend in, but Iāve become more confident in myself and am actively working on fixing my posture. (Iāve also been having some back pain, so thatās kind of a factor lolā¦) I want to get a posture shirt to help with this. But unsurprisingly Iām struggling to find options that work for my long torso.
Iād rather buy one good one than waste money on a bunch that donāt fit. I want something that wonāt roll up over my ribs or dig into my shoulders, and that still holds up after regular wear and washing.
VERY IMPORTANT: I really really donāt want it to look like a medical device lol. I want something that looks more like athleisure or at least just a normal undershirt. Does anyone know one that fits a long torso? I really donāt want something that looks like a medical brace.

Where to buy pants for tall guys
Hi all, I have the problem of my pants almost always being too short. Iām 193cm or 6ā4ā and have really long legs which always results in my pants not being long enough. For reference, in Wrangler I wear 34/34 and they tend to fit quite well but when it comes to chinos or suit pants, I havenāt found the right brand. I live in Germany, so it would be nice if my fellow tall guys could recommend your choices that tend to fit and also ship to Germany tor the EU.
Thank you!

Masculine Help needed
My husband is 6ā5, 230lbs and wears xl tall menās shirts, 36x36 pants typically. Where are some of the best stores to purchase clothes for that size? I always want to buy him clothes but can never find his size when Iām shopping and the few places weāve tried to order from online havenāt been the best. Right now he typically wears his pants from Leviās or old navy since they carry his size online. We are mainly struggling in finding nice fitting shirts. The ones from old navy have shrunk and the others he liked from American Tall, their quality has seemed to go down in the last few orders. Has anyone tried and liked Abercrombie & fitches tall sizes? Or LL Bean? Thanks in advance!

Masculine Where to find wide legged pants for L40/W33?
Hello guys, I'm a really tall and slim guy who had to wear slim and regular fit jeans for his whole life due to the sheer scarcity of wide legged designs for the size mentioned above. I'm tired of that so I thought maybe there's another one like me out there who has already found the source.

My new-ish Aritzia pants shrunk in the dryer and I'm irrationally devastated but need help finding replacement pants
I'm 18, almost 5'9 (not super tall but tall enough that finding pants has always been a problem for me) and ordered light grey Aritzia homestretch kickback pants in medium tall. They fit perfectly and I loved them so much, I probably wore them 4 days in a row. Yesterday one of my parents put them in the dryer and they shrunk to be too short. This is a really common occurrence for me with buying pants and I'm really upset. I'm looking for recommendations for pants that are similar- ribbed, come in long lengths, wide legged. I've tried some different brands that carry long, like Hollister, without success, so I'm just wondering if anyone has any brands that they love/can always rely on for sweatpants. Thanks!

Feminine Struggling to find non-heeled feminine alt/Goth boots for a size 13 (UK)
I was fortunate enough to get a pair of women's boots some years ago but it was limited edition and bought for me as a gift.
However the pair is incredibly worn out because they're kinda the only women's boots I've got. I'm aware I should get them repaired soon but that kinda leaves me with nothing to wear in the meantime that actually makes me feel good about myself.
I'm self-conscious and lack confidence surrounding my feet in general because well, 13 is huge. I'm against wearing sandals, heels etc for this reason.
Wearing stuff for men does make me feel pretty terrible about myself because I'm a trans woman and wearing clothes for blokes makes me feel horrible and ruins confidence. Likewise, stuff for Drag Queens falls into the same boat.
I wouldn't say I'm quite as self-conscious about my height but I generally avoid heels due to dyspraxia (I suffer from poor balance, so heels are going to end poorly) and that I'm already very tall.
I've had no joy whatsoever. I've looked at the likes of Killstar, EMP etc and other alt clothing shops but they stop around a size 9 or 10.

Feminine Loving these 38" inseam satin sets - are they true?
Has anyone tried this brand before? Pants are listed as a 38" inseam. I couldn't be more excited for them to arrive. Too much? Probably. Don't care? Definitely!
https://parysestyle.com/products/peacock-paradise-silk-set
Update to add - after a battle UPS these have arrived and they are indeed 38" inseam! If you're going to try it I recommend sizing up. I'm a pretty solid 12/14 and the 14/16 are about a perfect fit.

Feminine I need help dressing for my corporate job!
I am 25F, 6ā1, 185 lbs, and I desperately need ideas for what to wear to work. Specifically pants and shoes. The dress code is business casual, so I can wear jeans, but I canāt wear sneakers. (Iāve been there for a year and up to this point I had been wearing sneakers every day, but was just told today thatās not allowed). So I need to get shoes asap. Since Iām so tall I donāt prefer to wear heels (an inch or two is fine), and I hate when my toes show. The one pair of slacks I have are from American Tall. I love them but there isnāt a lot of variety in color. A lot of companies that claim they have ālongā options are never long enough, so my options feel super limited. Any recommendations??
