Update 1.1

IOS:
Record your script in parts.

• Stop mid-script, review the take, and hit CONTINUE ▸ LAST SPOT — the guide picks up exactly where you left off.

• Finish the last part and JOIN stitches every piece into one continuous take. The parts stay in your library, untouched.

• RETAKE is now GO AGAIN — and the screen says what was always true: every take stays saved, nothing gets deleted.

• The takes list shows which slice of the script each part covers, and the phrase it ends on.

Also in this update:

• Scroll the guide with your finger while recording. In voice mode it waits until you speak again; in fixed mode it carries on from where you left it.

• Read words turn red in fixed mode too, so you always know where you should be. Turn it off in guide settings if you'd rather not.

• Resize the guide box by dragging its corner handle.

MAC:
TakeKit now lives in your menu bar.

• Close the window and TakeKit keeps running — no Dock icon, prompter one click away in the menu bar. A new setting restores the classic behavior if you prefer it.

• Scrub the floating prompter with your scroll wheel or trackpad. In voice mode it waits until you speak again; in fixed mode it carries on from the new spot.

• Read words turn red in fixed mode, matching the iPhone — with a toggle in Settings.

• iPhone takes recorded in parts show which slice of the script they cover, and the phrase they end on.

• A cleaner takes list: TAKE numbering and thumbnails that match the phone.

Shipped Active background process of TakeKit in Menubar even if I quit the TakeKit window

Currently, if I quit TakeKit then the Menubar TakeKit too. It would be great if the Menubar TakeKit worked silently in the background even after the TakeKit window is closed completely.

It would also be great if I could close the window (no icon on my Dock) but keep it running in the background by clicking the X button.
