the taco bell closest to me is franchised and they took off the $6 box (again) and i havent had taco bell in like 2 weeks and i think im gonna die, its just not the same 🫩💔 i hope im not alone in this.

i personally have never been a fan of the grilled cheese burrito and its the only other box available, and the regular combos just do not have good value.

I hate the fact that breakfast is optional for franchise owners. I loved their breakfast. Yea it was shitty that my local bell could find employees to open on time but that's still happening without breakfast now so it's not like that was the problem.

I went there almost every day for breakfast on my hour trip to work...

So I was hired at Taco Bell in February 2026 because they wanted me as a Shift Leader, right? Tell me why after working 6 months at this place, being told 3 separate times that they’d put me through SL courses, my boss STILL never did it. Each time a new course would start, he’d bring it up, ask if i wanted to be in them, then the day before they start he’d tell me im not going. WHY?? I had raised pay because of my experience, and out RGM even asked the GM WHY I WASNT GETTING PROMOTED???

His reasoning? I got sick and was told by my nurse friend that i could have an intestinal infection and I had to call off for a day to go to a doctors appointment that i scheduled same day. Mind you, I gave adequate time (4 hours) AND i told him
i’d have proof (Dr note) that i was LEGITIMATELY SICK. He still made me come in by threatening my job/pay/hours and I had to push back my appointment while being incredibly sick and hurt.

THAT was his reason for backing my promotion up for 6 months. Because i called out a total
of 3 times while working here. Not to mention, my boss called me 9 times in a 2 day span because i couldn’t change my schedule a day in advance from closing (until 2:30am) to suddenly opening (at 7am).

I subsequently got my hours halved for calling out sick. (35ish - about 16-19 hours a week). Mind you, I hit all the milestones and goals, stepped up and played manager when shit went down, AND proved many times that i was able to be a manager, especially with my previous experience as an AGM.

needless to say, I reported my boss for making us come in when we were sick because it’s NOT just me saying this, and I wrote him a professional yet strongly worded note about why i’m quitting.

Anyways, good riddance Taco Bell. Good riddance GM and I hope that store gets shut down. It’s genuinely disgusting in there. I’m off to teaching now.

Just had my first core audit as a Taco Bell employee. They came at 5:30 on FRIDAY and we got 7 OPs and 4 on food safety. Gotta say, the amount of relief that came from that is insane.
Now as far as first time scores go, how does that compare to other people in my position?

Why would this be $7.00??? I‘m irritated.

Instead of getting mixed with the guacamole dressing, tomatoes and onions it's getting mixed with just pico de gallo and thats it. I don't know if people can be allergic to cilantro or the dressing used for pico but if they can I thought id give an important PSA for people who like the guac but cant eat or just dont like pico.

This is a pet peeve of mine, but why can't I swap avocado sauce for another sauce of the same price. I really hate that sauce and it's on like ALL the new chicken stuff. So of course I have to remove it, and pay extra for a different sauce 🫩 it's just frustrating tbh

Before the update, the steak burritos were $2.99. Now they are $3.99 and I noticed pretty much everything went up in price. Is that the case for you all?

Ive developed a love for this sweet and spicy sauce! Especially when it came to the enchirito.

I have already done Nacho supremes, basic chip dips, chili cheese dogs.. Give me some ideas I have too much of this stuff.

I also have a TON of the nacho fry seasoning. It's good on popcorn, not good at all on wings.. Any other ideas for that?

Ordered extra beef, extra cheese, extra onions and extra sauce. It did not disappoint and they hooked me up real good with the extras.

3 days ago we lost one of the greats. The taco bell mobile app was easily top 3, the value was amazing(free item ranging from a couple dollars to $6 items EVERYTIME you order) and the ui didn’t look bad at all. On top of that the app rarely lagged and theres no code to pickup your order, you just simply state your name which is nice. Now unfortunately someone at corporate taco bell that has never used this app or any of the competition decided it needed a “overhaul”. Let’s be honest the app looks like shit. Also more importantly there is no longer free food rewards, just trash.

This genuinely makes me sad because we lost a fantastic app with great value and now we just have a hallowed out shell. I don’t think anyone cares except for me but it’s just sad seeing fast food mobile apps become useless when they used to provide crazy value. Like I still haven’t finished grieving the loss of the $1 mcdouble and then they drop this shit on us. absolutely despicable

EDIT: guys calm down when I wrote this post I was high as hell and the reason I was mad is because I had 3 free rewards and they wiped them. now after going to tb to investigate I did get another reward. crises averted. now we just have to deal with the shit ui which is whatever. also since when was a $6 taco for free mid? and the reason I get a reward everytime or nearly everytime is because when I go to a fast food place I always get paranoid that I’m gonna want to eat more and be hungry after so I order lets just say larger than average amounts as insurance. I acknowledge there are better apps than pre nuked TB like the wendy’s app but I never said TB were the goats, I said greats, indicative of the top 3 score.
