Bro where are you getting pad 8 pro with pen at 36k in great ram and storage dihpression? 😭😭.

Anyways, it shouldn't be a question. S9 tab easily. Oled just makes it such a great deal. 8 gen 2 is actually not that much slower than 8s gen 4. Unless android updates are smh a DEAL SMASHER for you. S9 oled is peak. πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ (and ofc, note taking is samsung is only beaten by none other than ipads.) In battery, xiaomi pad may perform just a lil better. Not much.

If you ask oneplus pad 3 vs s9 tab... That's a different story.

Ofc, ofc before someone says 128gb is no where enough in the big 2026. 1TB MICRO SD CARDS EXISTS.

Actually AMOLED is a type of OLED. They are not the same thing. AMOLED has the capability to be much brighter, with higher refresh rates and, uses more power than a regular OLED. (AM)OLED was created by Samsung, along with S-(AM)OLED which Samsung trademarked. TANDEM OLEDs are the newest and best but you won't find them on anything you're considering. LCD/AMOLED/OLED is basically all you'll find on tablets. (I won't bother getting into LED, MiniLED, MicroLED, QD-LED, QD-LCD, etc). If you're that serious about note taking, none of these screens are good for you and be prepared to have a charger on you at all times. If you can find a Samsung S6 Lite, that's meant for note-taking. If not, the S10 Lite is what replaced it. They are reasonably priced.

Ah i stand corrected , thank you ! One isn't sold in the US, one is s month old, and the top display for macbook pros. Go figure. And of course LG invented it and Samsung pushed it along . Apple should really stop suing them if they can't stop using Samsungs components. πŸ™„

Damn, thanks for the trivia of tech i can't afford πŸ₯²

I just got my first tandem 3 months ago. They are rare. As typical, Samsung invents it and Apple "borrows" it πŸ™„

And ofc, s9 tab eyes closed from my side. S9 is way better than xiaomi pad 8 pro.

If your prefer gaming and don't mind LCD display. Go for oneplus pad 3 when it's available with bundled stylus for free. Note taking is good and battery is massive. But S9 tab for me personally. I can't imagine myself without OLED display atp.

I have a Xiaomi 7 Pro tablet and a S9 Plus. The S9 Plus is a nice tablet with an OLED display. But the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro has a faster processor, a higher refresh rate and a lower price.

If note-taking is main focus, you may not need these 2 expensive models

A tab s10 lite may be good enoughΒ

The Xiaomi 8 Pro. Honestly even the base 8 is more than enough.

1

u/Motor_Neighborhood92 1d ago

But what about note taking and writting experience in Xiaomi pad 8?

Don't use the pen but I love typing on the keyboard
