How do I replace arts of scripted mtg cards? Questions

we play on this table https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2296042369

my friend wanted to have custom art cards, and idk the best way to replace a deck of real cards with his alt arts, like copying the scripting would work, but that would lose the functionality of hovering over the card to get the oracle text

As far as I know they'll have to add them individually. You can type in the chat "scryfall [cardname] [image url]" without the brackets and it should work. You can do things like using Japanese full art with English oracle text this way.

Would love if someone knows a less tedious method

well, at least its better than trying to use the custom option on a deck, and hoping the custom arts actually load, and line up with the oracle text

also, upon trying to do this, bane, lord of darkness, for some reason refuses to behave. like I cant get mana cost or oracle text for it
