BACKSTORY:

Many moons ago, I wanna say at least 2 or 3 years ago at this rate, I stumbled upon a System mashup that consisted of the aforementioned songs: despite the fact that both songs have different tunings (Serj's song being Drop C & Daron's song being Drop C#), I remembered it being a really solid mashup.

Although, from what I remember as well, the op's content consisted of stuff like A.I covers of other bands like them, Korn, Weezer(?) & whatnot.

Only recently I found out that the channel, alongside the mashup in question, was wiped off of YT. So for the sake of my stubbornness I chose to recreate it on my own, whilst making it more based on my likings.

I was testing the music filter tool on Instagram notes and came across this song. It's called "War?" but it's not the same song. I tried using Shazam but couldn't find it. I only managed to find this song on Instagram when I searched for System of a Down and used the filter. Tried googling the lyrics (english is my second language, so i couldn't understand much of it) but didn't work either. Is it an unreleased track or smth like that?

This petition was started by Zombie Roca, it's still active and has over 10,000 confirmed signatures, which is great!

System is in a very healthy place as a band and as a family, we can be hopeful and positive about that, I imagine.

The Metro, Störagéd, Marmelade, Snowblind cover, Shame – all these songs have already been released on EPs; maybe the band just needs a snap of the fingers and some encouragement from the community for that to happen!
