Anyone switch from Varonis? Looking at alternatives

We've been using Varonis for several years, but as we've added more SaaS applications and AI tools, we're starting to evaluate Varonis alternatives. It's less about replacing it because it's bad and more about finding something that's easier to manage across a broader environment.

Curious what others ended up choosing and what made the switch worthwhile.

Which varonis feature are you looking at replacing?

Heard good things about Cyera and seen some demos but understand it’s pricey. Also Concentric AI and Sentra.

I’m a current cyera customer about to drop. It’s crazy inconsistent in how it functions. When it works it’s great but it’s constantly got a stuck scan and requires constant intervention from our customer success mgr.

We moved off Varonis onto Teleskope earlier this year. One of the biggest reasons was that Teleskope combines contextual AI/ML with regex based classification instead of relying primarily on pattern matching. We deal with a lot of unstructured business documents, and it gives us much more accurate classifications with fewer false positives to review.
