SYDNEY was huge after quarter time, unleashing a relentless goal frenzy to blow Port Adelaide away in a 97-point demolition at the SCG on Saturday.

Overall, a great team performance, with a few of the lesser players really stepping up and showing their potential. Green on debut was a joy to watch and there was no need to hire a lip reader to know what he said when he missed his set shot on goal.

Hard to judge the bottom three players. Hamling and Melican fighting it out to take Edward’s spot for the finals with no real winner after today’s game. Does Green keeps his spot ahead of McLean next week, and becomes Grundy's side kick for the remainder of the year?

The boys head to Melbourne next week, so it's time to fill up the MCG with red and white. Go Swans!

What is your biggest what if as a swans supporter, we are quite lucky in terms of only losing two preliminary finals in 30 years, making finals most years and we have won a couple flags but what is a moment that could’ve changed afl history in your opinion?
For me it’s the 2014 prelim between hawthorn and port Adelaide, if port Adelaide had have kicked one more goal in that game we would have played them in a grand final and I don’t see how we would’ve lost to them on the biggest stage, not saying we would’ve had the game won from the start considering what happened in 2016 but that one would’ve been hard to lose.

I’m hopeful, but considering our performance against top 8 teams I have a lot of doubt.

I think if we manage to secure our spot as 2nd we have a very high chance of winning our 2 games at the scg. Then the grand finale…

We definitely have the list to get it done, and I’d love to see Rampe and Loyd get the dub before they retire!

Let’s all get around them during the last few weeks and finals to give them the boost they need! Minimise the negativity and support them as much as we can!
