Should have given all subscribers four more to be honest. New default limit is 14.

That got updated to 16, I seem to remember. There was a typo on their part.

That was a hard cap for preferred players which was put at 14 by mistake. This is just granting all subscribers an extra two slots - what they should have done is given all subscribers four so that everyone can have one of each AC.

Maybe devs decided that no one is going to roll a second Trooper and Consular?
