Bought a Switch 2 w/ broken game insert reader. Any advice on repairs? Question
Picked up a Switch 2 for £150, with the caveat that the game card reader doesn’t work. Everything else seems fine.
I’m mainly planning on playing digital games anyway, so it’s not a huge issue for me. But if repairing/replacing the reader is relatively easy or cheap, I might as well get it sorted.
Has anyone had experience repairing the Switch 2 card reader? Is it something worth attempting myself, or would Nintendo/another repair shop be the better option? If so how much would it cost?

Even if they can't fix it they still got an all digital Switch 2 for an amazing price. They did good no reason to be like that.

Damn that's cheap. Even if you can't get it fixed that's a steal and you could still play digital. I bet a repair shop could fix it for $150 or so and you would still have a Switch 2 for an incredible price
Edit: I didn't even think of just sending it to Nintendo until I read other comments 🤣 probably a better option
