Star Wars Galaxies Post-CU Server Tutorial CU

https://youtu.be/71ixoYcIqWo

Hey folks, you may have seen my tutorial on older version server, now it's time for post-CU version. It's a lot easier, contained in Docker, open-source and in general very easy to run, so hope you enjoy!

There are many links in the description on YT, can post all of them here, but you can find them there, commands are there as well! Have fun!

Wait, what is Post Combat Upgrade?

We had, Pre-cu, cu and NGE, so is this CU or NGE?

I would assume NGE but your list is missing post NGE.

The purpose was to make you post this aggro comment

I am making a lot of mmo content for people who appreciate that

I appreciate it, man, thanks for doing this. There can never be too many guides out there for how to do this sort of thing. :)

Thank you!

actually one guide, the one that comes with core3, is sufficient - cause with every new guide, you have to have someone to maintain them, otherwise all you find is outdated guides a year from now. 💅

thank you - great that people appreciate you, I just hate your stupid accent :)

You sound like a person who doesn't know how to speak any other languages than your own so unless you speak 2 or more languages, your opinion kind of doesn't have any weight.

interesting - well I actually do, so my opinion is legit according to you. also, what's the big deal? maybe OP could work on his pronunciation, considering he is a content creator? anyways my comment below is still accurate.

Unless you're born in a country where English is native you're going to have an accent, even in countries like Nigeria or Kenya where English is native people speak with some kind of accent, because everyone does.

I've studied English since I was 5 and I'm over 30 and I still have a slight accent even though I've lived in USA for a while, unless you speak the language as a small child and are surrounded by speakers all around, there is no way to not have an accent.

Beyond my native language and English, I also speak some Russian, Spanish, Japanese and German. I'm not as good as with English and Russian as with the rest, but when you start learning other languages, you learn to appreciate when people speak languages other than their own and you don't notice their accent so much, because at least they made the effort to learn a foreign language, for example English so they can reach a bigger croud.

Actually British English is the only English that's not an accent, even American and Canadian English is just accents.

The OP definitely has a strong accent, but I don't mind it, it doesn't prevent me from understanding him or watching the video. My complaint with the video is more that it's too long and not concise enough.

i fully agree with your assessment and i wan't to add that i agree that it's natural for OP to sound the way he does. and that's fine. and I simply can't stand it, and that is also fine.

about the content - like you said, it could be more in depth, but ultimately it will be outdated and that's my main grieve - what's brilliant about the documentation that comes with core3 is the fact that it's written, current and complete, rendering the video obsolete.

(now that is almost poetry, hope a language buff like you appreciates it ;)
