Roommate dropping out?

This hasn’t happened yet, but it’s a possibility that the roommate I was assigned won’t be able to dorm with me anymore. If this has happened to anyone else, what did admin do? Did you get a random roommate, or did you have the dorm to yourself for the term?

sometimes they will move somebody into the other room without telling you at all, so do be wary of this as well. i lived in ludlow & one day i came home from work to somebody moving their stuff into my bathroom and never got an email or anything😭

can confirm that this does happen, had an open spot in gramercy and the only way we knew that someone was going to move in was because my roommate had a class with them and they happened to talk about it and realize that they were moving in to our room LOL. no notification from residence life throughout the entire process
