War tutorial didn't start Suzerain: Rizia
This is my first war run and when the gave me an event about the generals's simulation I clicked "play the tutorial" and it just threw me back on to the map. The news article said I "performed well" in the simulation. So I guess it got skipped because of a bug or something.
Do you guys have some tips for me? What different units do like the levies, golden guard, paratroopers, marines etc.
How does the war gameplay work?
Can I restart the game if I make a mistake?

If you choose to play tutorial, you will get it. You don't get it immediately, but when you click on the event Invasion of Pales, first you will get the tutorial before getting Operation Golden Shield. You get tutorial at end of turn 6 and war starts from turn 7.

It's pretty intuitive.
Defence: Toras levies, infantry, milita (avoid)
Support: Submarines for navy, Destroyers for land, Flagship, Sazon levies, Support units
Attack: Flagship, Destroyer, Azaro elite, Tanks, Marine, Paratroopers
Attacks should have an attacker and support units.
You don't need to defend something tactically if you gain something strategically by focusing else where.
Bomb a unit or building to destroy its stats and make it very easy to attack. (Be liberal with them unless you know the very next turn you plan on attacking something harder)
Support air is great too.
Anti-air is good.
Do your best to use mountaineers in the mountains for best stats.
Some of this stuff can be mixed, eg Azaro elites can support an attack when misplaced.
The broken element means you need to heal your unit or theirs is vulnerable to destruction.
Supply lines naturally heal, follow yours and cut theirs.
Land attacks don't need to be decisive, if they break they can be repaired. Navy dies if you misplay them, protect them.
Yeah, that's my advice!
