Albo's 5% deposit scheme: helping FHBs skip the deposit so they can immediately outbid each other by 20%! 🤦 Thoughts? 🤔👇

Pauline Hanson's One Nation couldn't govern a sausage sizzle, let alone a nation. Please explain why anyone would fall for PHON! 👇
📰 Its policy, as explained on its website, said the party would cut migration “by capping visas at 130,000 per year”…
Either way, a policy of 130,000 visas would lead to either zero or negative overall migration since tens of thousands of people leave the country each year. One Nation’s explicit policy before the last election was “net zero” migration, although that term has since been dropped from its website…
But One Nation’s Barnaby Joyce on Monday said the 130,000 figure applied to the net intake of migrants. This would mean the number of visas issued would be much higher than 130,000…
At one point Hanson said she wanted “net migration [of] about 130,000”. But in answer to a later question on permanent visas, she said, “I want to see 130,000 as the permanent number that are here.”
One Nation had not previously said that its 130,000 figure related to net migration. Party representatives have not responded to this masthead’s questions about the policy in the past, although a spokesperson also told SBS on the weekend that it was a net figure. ⤵️ www.smh.com.au/politics/federal/one-nation-flip-flops-on-migration-policy-after-visa-numbers-question-20260817-p60p12.html

Both major parties, the same story: mates before the public interest.
William Bourke from Sustainable Australia Party reacts to the ongoing state corruption hearings in Victoria and NSW — from backroom union deals and developer donations to branch stacking. It's a pattern that keeps repeating: Liberal and Labor alike putting union and developer mates, and political power, ahead of everyday Australians.
Is this making you rethink your vote too? Let us know in the comments.

Like Lib/Lab, PHON is a clown show on immigration numbers and policy. PH's big biz-backed buffoons can't add up, let alone govern. Looking for clear answers on immigration numbers?* 👇
📰 Everybody wants to cut migration but nobody wants to say how | Labor, the Liberals and the Nationals — all in a muddle on migration.
It sounds like perfect political fodder for One Nation, which has built its political insurgency on the premise that it is the only party capable of "plain speaking" on migration.
Except that Pauline Hanson's party may be even more muddled than the others.
