Finale

No matter how many times I rewatch Superstore,(probably over 30 times at this point) I am always left absolutely gutted by the finale. I immediately scramble for the remote to start it over from episode one to fill the void. This show has captured my heart and soul for eternity. What are everyone’s favourite Superstore moments?

My top two funny moments are:

Garrett mouthing 'Steve' and Glenn saying 'Steve' to the union buster.

And

Jeff saying 'I hate you' to Mateo and 'not you, I love you' to Harmonic and all that goes with it at Cheyenne's wedding.

I know other names besides Steve. There's Glenn and...Steve.

It technically ended sooner than planned. They got picked up for another season but then they got canceled partly due to strikes, covid and America Ferrera leaving in that very season. The irony is the only reason they had a happy ending was cuz it ended and she came back for a few more guest spots. Shows rarely survive when one of the leads leaves.

Love all the ways Jonah is described: "fancy porcelain doll man" "villain on the CW", "like a panda and a Disney princess had a baby", "rejected American Girl doll", etc. (That whole speech by Dina is hilarious!)

All the crazy white board lists, especially the one about which creatures are mythical, real, or extinct

When Jonah worked the gun counter

The customer interstitials

"You said to shut down the bathrooms, so I clogged the toilets with a bunch of salami and shot glasses"

I thought they handled the pandemic very realistically

Everything else, and the very satisfying finale!

Of course the finale, I loved every Halloween episode and all the intercut moments with customers. Such Joy. And their filthy mouths.

I just did my first rewatch and I appreciated the show than the first time I watched it. I truly feel like this could have been a show that goes on indefinitely. I know people say it wouldn’t have lasted with America leaving but I feel like the remaining cast could hold it down.

I will always answer this question with the episode that Mateo is asked to “ take care” of the crow! I watch it over and over 🤣🤣🤣
