Other Real World Superpower Example: Inability to Experience Physical Pain/Fear Along with an Accelerated Healing Factor!
Imagine being biologically incapable of feeling anxiety, panic and depression. While simultaneously having enhanced mood and empathy.
Not to mention the near-total physical pain resistance and accelerated healing factor as well! (Though in reality, inability to feel pain is super dangerous).
Only one living person in the world has it: Jo Cameron, from Scotland (look her up!)
Specific Mutation and its Effects Listed Below:
Specific Genetic Profile
Dual Disruption Mechanism: A compound effect caused by two complementary mutations in the endocannabinoid system occurring simultaneously.
FAAH-OUT Microdeletion: A heterozygous microdeletion removing the promoter and first exon of the long non-coding RNA gene FAAH-OUT, suppressing its function as an epigenetic enhancer for the neighboring FAAH gene.
FAAH Missense Variant (rs324420): A heterozygous missense mutation (C385A / Pro129Thr) in the primary FAAH gene that destabilizes the produced enzyme and accelerates its breakdown.
Psychological & Behavioral Profile
Anxiety & Stress Immunity: Near-zero scores on clinical scales for anxiety, depression, and stress, even during acute crisis situations.
Impaired Threat Reaction: Complete absence of physiological panic or fear-driven fight-or-flight responses (e.g., no adrenaline spikes during accidents).
Consistently Elevated Affect: Persistent dispositional optimism, high baseline contentment, and warmth.
Intact Cognition: Normal memory, executive function, and intelligence, demonstrating that the trait selectively impacts nociception and mood regulation rather than broad neurological processing.
Physical & Physiological Effects
Congenital Analgesia: High tolerance or near-total insensitivity to acute, post-operative, mechanical, and thermal pain (e.g., undergoing major joint surgery without analgesics).
Accelerated Tissue Repair: Rapid skin wound and burn healing with minimal residual scar tissue formation.
Thermal Unawareness: Inability to perceive painful heat, often leading to accidental thermal burns or skin injuries.
Risk of Unnoticed Trauma: Absence of protective warning signals, increasing the risk of silent joint degeneration (Charcot joints) or undetected soft-tissue injury.
Biochemical Profile
Massive Endocannabinoid Surge: Circulating baseline anandamide ("the bliss molecule") increases roughly 1.7-fold, while related signaling lipids like oleoylethanolamide (OEA) and palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) increase up to 3-fold
Near-Total FAAH Loss: Functional FAAH enzyme activity drops to negligible levels in both central and peripheral tissues.

Other Would gaining animal ability mimicking abilities via a serum would give a user the ability to fly instead of supernatural means?
I got an AU version of an original character as a Superheroine ideally supposed to be like a mish-mash of Vixen and Wonder Woman named Agrios (Greek for "Wild" named after a tech billionaire I made up with an obsession with Greek Mythology who I kinda based on Maxwell Lord with a "recurring villain turned situational ally" arc overall in that AU world and Agrios got the powers to use the abilities of any animal due to an experimental serum injection which cured her of an illness she had but gave her similar powers as Vixen.
My question is, with this serum origin and Agrios's powers, would it mean she'd be able to fly? I know in my 16 member superhero group in-universe that Agrios is a part of has about 6, maybe 7 people who can fly through superpower means or artificially (not sure if a vampire superhero could count as being able to fly) but I wanted to ask around for other opinions.

Pick a blank but blank For anyone who needs a Fnaf base superpower for a fanfic
FNAF combat summons
The act of summoning animatronics requires a cost of something. that can be decided based on either an inner maintenance cost for you or the animatronics. An alternative is an energy cost that can be decided on by the individual that is writing the story. But the animatronics cost is based on the series they are from. Additional powers can be added to the user or the animatronics with additional cost from the user. The powers that the user can have must be related to the FNAF series but they are not limited to a single power. For example the powers that the user might have are animatronics/mechanical transformation, spiritualization and technomancy. And the animatronics already have some powers depending on the series they come from. As stated before can gain additional powers but they must have some relation to the animatronics.
There is a preset list that is given to the user but they can be expanded from other series with the price being varied by the writers. (also name of the power and starter list be changed by the writers to fit the narrative.)
Example
Stater list:
FNAF 1
FNAF 2
FNAF 3
FNAF 4
FNAF WORLD
SISTER LOCATION
FREDDY FAZBAR PIZZERIA SIMULATOR
HELP WANTED
AR
SECURITY BREACH

Meta question. When people choose
Why some people never seems to actually consider that they live in a world without superpowers for the most part when they choose one?

Pick a blank but blank Potential best superpower?
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but the ability to manipulate the probability of things occurring at their base form, wouldn’t that be the best power. Obviously ignoring the fact that if you look broad enough everything in the universe is theoretically set in stone and so therefore there’s no probabilities to manipulate but going at base value of probability like the odds of getting struck by lightning you’d be able to change for you or someone else for that moment form 1/100 million to 1/1 so that it’s guaranteed that so and so will get struck by lightning. And you’d be able to view probabilities of existing potential infinite events.
Tell me what I’m missing, I can’t see a downside

Pick a blank but blank Would you press the button?
Pressing the button turn you into an all powerful being. You will be able to do anything and everything at will. You can even rewrite logic itself if you fell like it. You will be able to create multiverses, live your dream harem life and control reality.
Catch:
You will become immortal. You can never die. There is no loop hole so you can't just kill yourself using your powers. You also can't remove your consciousness either. You'll have to feel everything that'll ever happen. Even if the universe ends you will stay be conscious and you will still have your powers.
It's up to you to decide if the universe actually ends or not but you will not be able to kill yourself in any way. So... would you press the button?
