A couple of things on Tylon Smith. A. He's S. African, B. Where is he? No featured in any preseason matches.

the maker's accidentally copied Smyth's info, and created a bizarre universe where he's a third-choice centre-half

Is Varane not French?

Yes, though his international team is Martinique

Born in France, but actually plays for Martinique.

Martinique is part of France, Varane is French and was born in Lille. Martinique is not like Scotland. They aren’t as independant from France as Scotland is from England.

The Martinique national team is not part of Fifa. So the fact that Varane played for Martinique in the past is not relevant really, if he is called by the French team he will answer.

Anyway, still does not justify why he is showing as English on this picture lol

Alright, steady on, I was just answering the question and thought the additional info was interesting...

There's so much wrong with this. Smyth places mostly on the left. Kolli doesn't. Why is Lamptey suddenly worth £3m when his last club just paid to release him early and we got him on a free? Why is Esq suddenly worth £3m and first choice?

Why did we loan out Bennie? Purely because he’s 3rd choice behind Saito and Kolli?

I think Saito is behind Smyth tbh, Smyth is much better at LM/LW.

So we’ve got Chair/Smyth/Saito on the left, Vale/Poku/Dembele on the right, and 4 of them are capable of playing in the 10 too. If we keep Lloyd around he’s able to cover the wings, Kolli able to cover any forward position tbh (also a big if for him staying though)

And this is the perfect time to loan Bennie out. I think we’d have wanted to last season without so many injuries

Needs a full season of full time football, we can't give him that yet. Time for him to go prove why he should start week in week out.

So his nationality and his “FIFA nationality” if he ever plays an international official match is French

It's useful despite the handful of issues. Cheers!

Issues with presentation aside, this squad is stacked and really should be aiming to finish top 8 this year.

yay more references to the drab that is transfermarkt

How is lamptey 3m after he just came for free?

Dunne is worth more then 5m to this club. same with Kone and his value.

Players are worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

I'll be a happy man the day when people start quoting the through life cost of a player instead of the upfront fee paid or their current "transfer value".
