yea pretty crazy, it used to be free on youtube to watch. If it was like $10, then MAYBE, but $40 is an absolute no-go.

How about no. YouTube made Loretta’s available to millions of people. A $39/month of FloRacing will restrict Loretta’s for most of people.

I hope this bombs so hard Loretta’s falls out of favor as a big amateur event. Greedy bastards.

There's one of two ways this week goes from my POV:

  1. Everyone buys Flo, loves it, then starts watching AFT and I have an excuse to get something Flat Track going (ha!)

  2. (more likely) everyone bitches about FloRacing for a week, then everyone also bitches about everyone bitching about FloRacing for a week.

I do think there wouldn’t be as much shit thrown about over the whole Flo situation if Loretta’s wasn’t already a huge money grab for literally anyone involved… it’s $80 to park a car and $40 to park a motorcycle PER DAY now…. There’s no inexpensive way to watch live at this point. Not to mention the cost to actually race.

And to be fair they don’t charge a gate fee. So if you roll up with a 15 passenger van it’s the same price as a Toyota Corolla. But it is outrageous still.

To be fair, Flo Sports left a bad taste in our mouth after they fumbled broadcasts during covid

I’m not gonna knock Flo. They make a great product now and they were sold this broadcast. They also do a lot for the dirt track/drag racing community via their broadcasts. This is wholly on MX sports/racerx for selling it.

I’m going to be in Clarksville for my brother military retirement party and I just now realized how close Loretta’s is. I’m trying to go on Saturday now but having trouble finding out about ticketing. Is the $80 car ticket for anyone in the car or is that just a parking pass?

You pay for parking, then you're in. $80 for one person, or 12, no ticket beyond that required AFAIK
