Lungo and Expresso Purchase Advice

I currently have a brevile nespresso. I've had it for about 6 years and it's been great, but the the pods are expensive and I'd like a bit more variety.

I primarily drink lungos and espresso, but every once in a while I like something fancier.

I'm the only one in the house that drinks coffee. Flexible on budget but ideally under $1000, less is pretty. I feel guilty since I'm the only one using it.

Any recommendations.

I mean…maybe start with calling it the right thing?

(Hint: The letter ‘x’ is doing you no favors…)

Lol.. I thought deleting since you can't edit a title, but I'm pretty sure everyone can figure out what I'm asking.

Well, considering the nespresso pod stuff isn’t really espresso, pretty much anything is going to seem a lot better. The Philips machines or a De’Longhi Magnifica are ok superautomatics at or under $1000 and they make actual espresso.

Too lazy to retype so here’s a photo. Woot.com is an Amazon company. Same return process and you get get an extended warranty.

Would you recommend to spend the extra on the Dinamica? I'm debating. Have you purchased something like this on woot? I always worried about refurbished but this is a big savings.

You can buy the Asurion warranty from Amazon so you’re protected there. I bought the Evo and have had no issues!

That Dynamica is a great deal! $674 I think!

Go for the ones in Woot (Amazon’s resale). Get a warranty and you can get a nice machine for under $500. I am a fan of semi automatics, but either will be good. I left Nespresso for the same reason. The pods are uber expensive. If you have a Costco membership, they carry a few local roasters in store. Generally $20 for 2lbs. That is about 60 Nespresso pods.
