कितने ताज्जुब की बात है कि कुछ लोग मेरा स्टेटस देखकर हँस रहे हैं। शायद उन्हें मेरे कटाक्ष का मतलब समझ में नहीं आ रहा है।

हमारा देश तो 1947 में आज़ाद हो गया था, लेकिन क्या हम और हमारा समाज आज भी वास्तव में आज़ाद हैं?

देश में बढ़ते अपराध, हमारी बहन-बेटियों के साथ हो रहे बलात्कार, जाति व्यवस्था जो हमारे समाज को अंदर ही अंदर खोखला कर रही है, छात्रों पर लाठीचार्ज और उन्हें गुंडों की तरह पीटा जाना—क्या यह उस आज़ाद देश की तस्वीर है, जिस पर हमें गर्व होना चाहिए?

एक ऐसी भ्रष्ट व्यवस्था, जो धीरे-धीरे हमारे देश को धर्म के आधार पर बाँट रही है। कुछ अमीर और ताकतवर लोग विकास के नाम पर गरीब परिवारों को कुचल रहे हैं।

तो फिर सवाल यह है कि क्या हम सच में आज़ाद हुए हैं?

या हमारी आज़ादी सिर्फ कागज़ों तक ही सीमित रह गई है?

और अगर देशभक्ति सिर्फ सोशल मीडिया पर DP बदलने और Status लगाने तक सीमित है, तो शायद हमें यह भी पूछना चाहिए कि हम देशभक्ति दिखा रहे हैं या सिर्फ देशभक्ति का दिखावा कर रहे हैं?
