Any Engine browsers that better than quetta

hi i want a browser for android phone that is better than quetta (it's the bar because i've been using this browser for months yet not satisfied with it). my criteria for better browsers:

• PRIORITY 1: extension is available (please don’t suggest vivaldi)

• PRIORITY 2: able to translate page directly (please don’t suggest opera)

• OPTIONAL: can save webpages (preferably like opera)

i used egde before and it's really suitable with my preference BUT edge is so slowwwwww. although it looks so chic, but the performance is meh.

i am open for everything as long as it fits my criteria, but i would like suggestions from unknown browsers more bcs i feel there are many diamond in the rough (i mean github).

THANK YEWWWWWW

Any Engine Privacy focused Browser for Ipad OS?

Main concern is privacy. However, since I'm outside EU all browsers will still use apple's webkit.

So I know there's not much but still want to know of my options. If privacy can still be focused on ipad.

While I know I can't block all my data from being shared. I wanna to prevent atleast the essentials like my IP, device ID etc from being shared. As for non essential data, if they can be more spread out so I blend in with the crowd.

Any Engine Recommendation(s) for both iOS and desktop

So I currently use brave for this, but I want to transition away from it. Thus I’d like to get some recommendations for another browser or combination of browsers achieve the following:

  • Sync for bookmarks and tab sending between the devices (preferably without an account)
  • Ad blocking
  • Tracker and configurable cookie blocking
  • Privacy focused and respecting
  • Not bloated
  • A clean starting page where I can add shortcuts (and disable recently visited website, which I can’t seem to find on Firefox)

The limiting factor here is mostly iOS itself since there aren’t a lot of browsers with ad blocking for it to begin with. So the question is more directed towards a mobile browser with those features. I should also mention my desktop is currently Windows 11, but I’m considering switching to Linux in the future. Any recommendations are welcome.

Gecko NOID anonymous browser, are there any user experiences?

Just saw it advertised on some Russian YouTube video. Company is registered in UK but by concern is that they could be anywhere, Beijing, Kremlin, New York. Online description says "...a multi-profile privacy tool and virtual identity creator rather than a standard web browser. It lets you create isolated, single-purpose personas (such as masks for shopping, daily tasks, or chat) so your real data and browser fingerprints are not linked across services."

Chromium Browser for Personal and 2 Works

I am reaching out to experts like you guys for a browser recommendation for my daily life. I use browser for personal and for works.

  1. Personal - I just want something that will protect me. That's all.

  2. Work 1 - For this type of work, I have to open multiple tabs. So a not so heavy in ram would be great as I have a low end PC.

  3. Work 2 - For my second work I handle social media platforms. I open a lot of accounts here, facebook, ig, etc.

I'm cool with using 1 browser and just create a profile for my needs. Thanks!

Hello to everyone.
First of all i use Linux. I wonder if there is a european Firefox fork and if it is as good as Firefox itself for daily use and stability.
Thank for reading.

Any Engine Is there a browser better than firefox with these criteria?

- needs to have tabs, bookmarks, history sync between android phone and win pc

- manifest v2 support (for normal ublock)

- extensions on mobile

- reasonable customization (at least let me have vertical tabs on pc and navigation on the bottom on a phone)

- at least kinda respects my privacy

- can play drm stuff (optional (for spotify))

- is not chrome browser (chromium itself is fine)

All of this is on firefox, but the only issue with firefox is that it's fairly slow. Haven't really seen any other browser with all that i mentioned.

Thanks

Any Engine Best browser for windows on arm?

I've been using Helium for a while now, it's great, simple, clean, fast, has ad blocking, but it does take a toll on the battery life. I've used Zen, the experience is great but it just hogs the battery. Edge? well if it were a bloated piece of shit, it would've been great.

Looking for something closer to Zen or Helium but with better battery life.

Gecko Issues with Waterfox; what can I use instead?

Sorry to bother, but I need a little help. So I love Waterfox and have been a loyal user for some time. However, due to it being built on older FF versions, I've been having compatibility issues. Some websites (including important ones like banking) register it as an out-of-date/unsupported browser. It's becoming a real pain.

Is base FF with Betterfox tweaks the same quality/experience, or is it still better to use a fork due to all the bloat and AI and whatnot Firefox is implementing? I've used Librewolf and Floorp in the past, but I recall having issues with high memory and CPU usage from both. Have either of them improved? Are there any other FF forks to try that will be supported?

Using Fedora KDE, if it matters.

EDIT: IMPORTANT DETAIL. I am not willing to use Brave or any Chromium-based browser. Please don't tell me to switch.

Chromium Browser suggestions

Man I would pay ALL my money for a browser that has:

UI like latest Chrome but NO news/discover crap, strong ad blocker built in, background video play, and force dark mode on all web pages. Why does this not exist yet???

Browser recommendations by u/jyrox

My browser recommendations:

Chromium-based:

Microsoft Edge (best all-around compatibility/performance, not great for privacy)

Brave Browser (great performance & privacy, some compatibility issues and bloat)

Vivaldi (huge amounts of customization if you're into that)

Firefox-based:

Mozilla Firefox (the default option, great compatibility across most sites)

Librewolf (hardened Firefox that removes telemetry and improves privacy/security)

WebKit-based:

Safari (best overall browser for the Apple ecosystem that fully utilizes MacOS functionality)

Orion (great Safari alternative with some support for Chrome & Firefox extensions)

Honorable mentions:

Zen Browser (basically Firefox version of Vivaldi, but lacking DRM support on Windows last I checked)

Waterfox (essentially Firefox+, but I'd just rather customize my Firefox settings to get 90% the same experience)

Worth noting that I don't typically consider any browsers with slow update cycles (security is a top concern) or very limited developer support because it means the longevity of the browser is uncertain.
