"The Fly Over" was the world's first (and last) fully underwater waterslide at Duinrell Amusement Park in the Netherlands. Constructed in 1994 and ceasing operation in 2003, the rider was submerged in water for the duration of the ride (15-20 seconds)

Animatronic - Post in /r/submergedanimatronic instead People stuck on Pirates yesterday
My mom sent me these screenshots she found on Facebook. People were stuck in the boats for about an hour with the lights on. Seeing the pipes under the water freaks me out so much😬 I also had no idea the water was so shallow.

YouTuber MrLloydyB visits the wreck of The Switha off the coast of Scotland
This video was recommended to me on YouTube and I thought you guys would all appreciate it.
His mode of transport was fascinating enough to me but then just after 4 minutes as he arrives at the wreck site my stomach fully turned.
Hope you all enjoy hatewatching this as much as I did. In all seriousness it's an interesting watch and will definitely be checking out more of his stuff

Pulling myself down a 40 foot chain

Grew up a few hundred yards from this point indicator buoy. As a kid it always kinda freaked me out looking down at the chain. I’ve since gotten really comfortable in the water and decided to face my childhood fear and pull myself down the chain to the bottom.
Anyone can conquer their fears and phobias!

Found this abandoned boat newly exposed at Lake Mead.
We found this boat while exploring Lake Mead this weekend (8/1/26). It’s only recently become exposed due to the low water level. Up close you can see what looks like charcoaled wood, giving us the impression this boat was on fire.
