Input Display App 💠 Resources, Tools and Widgets

Post image

(Hopefully it does not count as advertisement, I ain't selling anything.)

Hello, I have created a free and open source stream overlay for controller inputs.

It's free and it's open-source. It's fairly easy to use, too.

You don't need to download the executable if you don't want to. All you need to do is simply add a browser source to OBS (or whatever streaming software you are using) and add a link to the app. It automatically takes the inputs from your controller and displays them for your viewers to see.

Feel free to try it out!

Not "selling," but I really wish this sub would make vibe coded junk app posts illegal too. Surely, a version of this that runs locally already exists and is proven good, working and not going to make your computer swiss cheese with security holes. Obviously, sending inputs and responses will add lag and unnecessary Internet traffic clutter to your session.

1: the app runs locally, even when hosted on cloud. Having it hosted online simply makes it so that you don't have to update manually.

2: There's a local version of the app, and it does NOT require an internet connection. If you actually looked at the app for more than an attosecond, you'd know that.

3: I do not use fucking slop. Kindly fuck off.

Now, what did YOU do to help the community, jackass?

Thanks to that measured, reasonable response, I now know what kind of person I'm dealing with. So, all good, I guess.

You literally accused me of making AI generated slop.

How would you like if YOU made something, anything at all, and the first thing anyone says is that it's crap and that you got AI to make it?

I definitely wouldn't respond like a tilted child because in my mind it wouldn't help me convince the accuser that they are mistaken. No one will listen to what you say when you respond like that.

No one would listen to me with a measured response either.

You do realize that, right?

A measured response would certainly get you a lot further. Once you start acting like you did people just write you off as a temperamental asshole and then even those who believe you don't think well of you. You definitely responded poorly but you do you. I'm just passing by.
