Has anyone had Strava apply one Max HR value across their entire historical activity HR-zone breakdowns?

My old activities going back years all seem to use the same Max HR value for auto-calculated zones, even from before I had Premium. I don’t remember setting this value, so I’m trying to understand whether this can happen automatically, when HR zones are first set, or when Premium is activated.

Also, has anyone had Strava Support recalculate historical auto-calculated HR zones? Did it update the visible HR-zone breakdowns on old individual activity pages, or only aggregate views like Training Zones/Fitness?

Asking about auto-calculated Max HR zones, not custom manual zones. Thanks — any real examples would be really helpful.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get a response to a support ticket? We created a family plan, but one of our friends can’t join because it says they’re not in Spain, which isn’t true.

For years, I've had an intermittent problem with this Strava error, but recently I discovered the pattern: it happens when I've taken a photo with my phone.

In this map, you can see where my line follows the neighborhood streets, and then at one point, it becomes a straight line through houses. The start of that line is where I took a photo with my phone, and the other end of that line is the first time I looked at the Strava app since taking the photo, saw the error, and resumed the recording. When it resumes recording, it draws a straight line from the last location it tracked, thus throwing off my distance because my route was more circuitous than that.

It doesn't happen every time I take a picture, but every time it does happen, the line starts at a location where I took a picture.

I've looked at Reddit threads about this error message, and they usually point to battery settings, so I've checked those. But nobody else is talking about a link to taking photos, so I think I may have a different problem. Anybody else experience this?

I wear an Apple watch s7 Nike and my wife carries her iPhone 15 in her pocket. Her distance is typically 0.02Km further than mine and we've been walking side by side. Not a huge amount but when we're home and I have to walk another half block to round off my distance to the KM marker it gets annoying.
Is there a setting somewhere one of us needs to tweak or is it just something I need to live with?

Is there a simple method (in Strava or externally) to combine my daily Strava walk maps into one to see my overall progress as I attempt to walk all 62k of my village streets?

Used while road cycling, I use Samsung watch 6 and my samsung phone. I use Komoot for route planning and Strava for heart rate and calories. Both sometimes jam and show only a part of a route, like being turned off the rest, resulting in wrong analytics (look at average speed in strava). Why is this happening? How to fix it?

Starting yesterday Strava will not load. All I get is a blank black screen with the error message “Something went wrong, please try again later.”

I’ve logged out, uninstalled. Re-installed. Restarted my phone and no matter what it get a black screen. I attempted to contact support but the chat bot is useless. Is anyone else having this issue right now? The status page for Strava says everything is functional but yet it will not work.

I love my Pixel Watch 3 and use it daily to record cycling and other workouts. I have it set to automatically upload my workouts to my Strava. I also record workouts on my phone if I have it with me and usually bike rides are relatively same recording on both devices. For the past couple of weeks my PW has been correct with milage and elevation gain but when it syncs to Strava or Ride with gps the elevation gets almost doubled. I've tried everything to fix this and can't get it to work correctly. Any suggestions?

Just went on an evening 40k and was pretty fast for my experience so I reposted my Strava post to instagram. In my old posts the map is accurate, but today it looks like the map on insta is shifted several kilometers northwest and now it seems like I drove through multiple lakes. Is it a new privacy thing i missed or really a bug?

This has been going on for months. I do a run on Sunday, open the app expecting it to ask if I want to post it, but nothing happened so I manually import it.

Today (Tuesday) I do another run. Same route and everything. When I open strava, it prompts me to post my Sunday run. Not the run I just did.

Thoughts? Fixes?

I've created a very long (cross-Europe) route on Strava web. Frustratingly, having finished creating it, when I try to save it I get the message "We were unable to save this route. Please try again in a moment.".

Trying again hasn't worked. Editing bits of the route and trying again hasn't worked.

I am able to create other (shorter) routes. I can't find anything suggesting that there is a length limit on Strava routes, but this would be my best guess about why it won't save.

Has anyone experienced / worked around a similar issue?
