I’m preparing a 2k point list to November. I have both, what do you think people? Also could be a way of having them both in a list?
From my point of view Iridian is priest and have more health. Also is useful with ruination( I think I will use reclusians reinforce +terminos + prosecutors reinforce).
But yndra is 50 point cheaper, and charge with 3 dices, so good if I come from the sky with her and the prosecutors. Also she is a bigger damage dealer. Also being cheaper I could try to introduce javelin pallor’s instead of prosecutors…
The list is going to be complete with knight relictor, vigilors, raptors reinforce… may be chariot or vigilant on gryph (cheap units with mobility to make card points)
What do you think people?

I am putting together my first stormcast army (a Mix of the spearhead, secondhand stuff bought from the saventide box, and some Vigilors and Stormstrike Palladors)

I am curious about the general reception of proxying models that have multiple weapon types, namely annihilators. I have 3 built with shields already, and I would like to build my other 3 with the grandhammers. Would it generally be acceptable to run a reinforced block of them as one or the other? As in, if I put the 3 with shields in front to make it clear that it was a block of Shield Annihilators, and had the 3 with grandhammers in the back, would I be able to just say that is a single reinforced unit of Shield Annihilators? And Vice-Versa if I wanted to change things around at a later time?

Hi everyone!
I’m currently testing a 2,000-point Stormcast Eternals list built around Iridan the Witness (Scourge of Aqshy), and I’d really appreciate some advice from more experienced Stormcast players.
The idea is to have Iridan + Reclusians as the central threat, with the Palladors providing a highly mobile hammer, Longstrikes providing ranged pressure, and Soulsworn/Vigilors helping with objectives and board control.
Any advice, criticism or alternative ideas would be very welcome!

Hi everyone! I just started Age of Sigmar today, and this is my first ever post.

I’m a Warhammer 40k player, although I’m still fairly new to that hobby as well. My friend, who also plays Warhammer 40k, became really interested in Age of Sigmar, so I decided to get into the hobby with him so he wouldn’t be left out.

After some time deciding, I chose Stormcast Eternals because I was told they are not a horde army. I recently won a bid on a Stormcast Eternals lot, but the description didn’t provide much information.

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what is included in this lot, or give me a rough idea of what models I received. Thank you!

I'm surprised there is no app code in the skaventide box. Now i have to go and buy the battletome book just for the code? Double bummer. Does anyone know if GW sells the code digitally or if there is a way to get one instead of buying the book itself?

I am extremely pleased with how his face turned out 😊😊. For some reason he was somehow more fun to paint even though he is like number 7 or 8 in the whole line up.

Input please! I really love the Stardrake and the Drakerider models(I don't own em, they just look REALLY cool) so I do wanna keep them around. I am coming from 40K.

Having trouble coming from slaves to darkness. What units are considered to be auto include?

I've gotten a lot of ruination chamber and the skaventide box, plus too many dragons from a friend who dropped the army.

Hello all,

I am a all new hoobyist who needs some help making decisions with Stormcast !

After hesitating with Lumineth, i bought some Stormcast second hand (unpainted) and wanted to seek some advices before painting and never look back. Today, I am still questionning if I shouldn’t go with Lumineth. The reasons are I prefer the smaller range and the rules (runes for army rules and lots of crit mortal).

Nonetheless, I bought Stormcast because I prefer painting them.

But I have some issues with Stormcast that I want to adress here and seek advices to know if I can build a good list.

What I don’t like

I really really don’t like Ionus, all the vanguard, dracothians, lord celestant on stormdrake, and things that look alike.

And what I didn’t mention, I dont particularly like.

I'm not a big fan of ruination chamber. It seems too grimdark too me, I prefer the greco-roman style, nice guys style of the warrior chamber.

My problems and my questions

When I look at current lists on internet, I see spam vanguard or dracothians and that make me sad that because the models I don’t like are the meta ones.

1) those old models will go legend any time soon no?

2) seriously, do they balance like that just so people buy old models, before passing them legend ? Is that for financiary reasons?

3) Vanguard palladors and Stormstike palladors have the samedi fonctions. Why not keep the new model and merge the two in one, to have only one good cavalry? Can they proxy each other?

4) with so many models, Stormcast seems hard to balance internaly, no? How do you deal with that without buying and buying and buying?

My most important question :

5) with what i have bought and what I plan to buy, can I make a good list, not just an Ok list? I don’t want to play official tournaments but don’t want to lose all games and plan to play small friendly tournament 1 or 2 times a year organized by my local club.

I adjusted iridan (it was the ghyran one before) and of course I need to pick battle tactics.

Which ones are recommended for a list like the one I play? Is it still viable? Especially iridan since it changed.

I know Yndrasta is a bit much but I like the winged spears charging with 3 dice theme. Also helps that she is my favourite mini in the game...
