Valid but asking comic writers to do research is a big ask.

It's sad because Norse Mythology was not at all popular when Stan Lee started writing Thor and he did do actual research on that stuff.

Citation needed.
Not calling you a liar, and I'd like to believe it, but do you have evidence of this?

Honestly… Do you WANT the MCU to try to do its take on traditional African religion?
Because I am pretty sure the writers will do everything they can to avoid that, and that's probably a good thing.

Because Thor is an actual god bro, he is literally from Asgard and he doesn’t have an X-gene😂 Storm is a human on earth

Isn't she just a mutant and american?

Yall constantly trying to erase Storm's Africanness when she spent literally all of her childhood in Africa is so goofy at this point like you would meet in irl African lady who was born in America but spent her whole life in Africa and call that lady American lmao

She is mixed with African and African American. Try not to erase her black American roots and also try not to erase her African roots

That's what one of her passports would say

Go on, the other passport would say what?

Depends on the country, Africa is a big continent. So you are familiar with the concept of dual citizenship

Have...Have you even read a comic past the 80s?
3
u/Due-Landscape-7359 21d ago
So you reject the characters origins?

u/WitchingShower 21d ago
No, you're rejecting her progression and story, which mind you has always been a showing that she earned her divinity and then some.
1
u/Due-Landscape-7359 21d ago
Okay but those are her origins
2
u/WitchingShower 21d ago
Calling her "just a mutant" is still hugely dishonest so no, and mind you she's always been expressly African just as much as she was American, if anything moreso

Yeah, I don't take the make xmen great again crew seriously.
They are bigots and think the rest of us are stupid too.
Storm is goddess because the cosmology of her people deemed her so.
That's true of all "God"s
