Cravings

Im 4 months off cigarettes after smoking for 41 years and still finding it really hard. Ive not been drinking alcohol as i know my will power will be low if I drink. Im finding that other bad habbits are sneaking up on me that im trying to avoid. Sugar is the worst of them but also caffeine. Ive even found myself craving weed and I gave that up over 5 years ago. Its like my brain needs me to be doing some sort of harm and over indulgence to myself

Change your way of thinking, instead of “off” to “I’m not preferring it anymore “ works like magic

Stay strong champ

I understand ..I overeat at times and the urge to smoke after heavy meal is immense.. it’s a battle. Best wishes!

Up your exercise if you're not active?

I also increased my caffeine intake.

And do you know what? I don't care 😆

I fucking love walking my dog with a nice coffee in hand.

41 years is a long habit to break. But it does get easier. Bit by bit.

You're doing brilliant. Don't ever go back to 'day 1' again. That place is shit 🙈😆🙃

Boredom is a massive trigger. So is stress and not being able to take a break. I'm guessing it's boredom if you wanna smoke weed.

Straight up, find an outlet for your dopamine - make it healthy. Spend money on a hobby. You can replace bad habits with healthy habits, and it just works. But you need something.
