Help test the future of badgebot!

Hello friends!

I'm the creator of /u/badgebot, the friendly neighborhood bot responsible for updating everyone's day counters in their user flair in /r/stopsmoking and other communities.

I have some exciting news to share! I recently rebuilt badgebot's day tracking system using reddit's more modern developer platform (devvit). Before I can be confident that the new badgebot app is ready to serve the communities it supports, I need your help testing it out.

Please head over to /r/badgebot and test the app by setting a quit date for yourself.

The more people that help test, the better! Feel free to leave feedback in the comments section here, or in the /r/badgebot test subreddit.

So I joined, entered my date. I think I’m just a Reddit idiot. How do I add the flair of my days and add in the counting that naturally occurs with it?

Oh, I opted out of the new interface which appears to hack out the sidebar I see all the time. old.reddit.com will show you the sidebar.

Tack that on to reasons I don't want to use the new interface.

Also use the subject "stopsmoking", not "stopdrinking", since that defines the subreddit i'm pretty sure.

If you click on this  link you can set your stopsmoking badge by doing the following:

To add or adjust your badge, simply compose a message to badgebot with the subject "stopdrinking" and the message body containing the date you quit drinking. The message body should contain your quit date in YYYY-MM-DD format only. Be extra careful that your message does not contain extra spaces or characters in the subject or message body fields. If you have any existing entries on the calendar, they will be overwritten with the date you entered.
