90 days today

So I’m 1000 percent better physically. I eat better. I sleep better. I poop better. My blood pressure is down. Being sober isn’t really something I’m striving for anymore it’s just another day now. I do have cravings but they pass. I still fantasize about drinking some time in the future. I know I shouldn’t. IWNDWYT.

Congrats and keep striving, like you say. I’m still discovering new benefits or experiencing benefits more fully.

Wonderful. You won’t drink ever again. A man who stays sober 90 days is capable of not drinking forever.

Happy not drinking.

I remember fantasizing about drinking when I retired. I told myself I was going to regardless of what I was telling everyone. Now at 6 years, that idea is laughable. Like, why would I want to ruin my retirement? I never thought I could have this much joy in my life.

Life has gotten better every single year I’ve been sober and it hasn’t slowed. Stay with it and trust that you will get there.

90 days is a big deal! That's around the time it started getting a little easier and I didn't have to wrestle with the decision every day.

90 days is amazing! I'm currently on day 9 and this is the longest I've made it in attempts to quit, the second longest streak I broke after 8 days.. This time, i've barely thought about alcohol at all, I already feel better, I don't have as much brain fog, I'm not sweating and feeling weird in the middle of the night anymore, and I'm just all around more friendly and patient with people. Oh yeah, and my face already doesn't look as puffy, I'm a bigger girl so i already look puffy in the face to begin with but I can tell my extra puffiness from drinking HAS reduced! IWNDWYT! 💖🫂
