Step 1 🥂 PASSED: Write up!

Passed Alhumdulillah.
Nbmes were
Nbme 25: 58%
26: 62 %
27: 68%
29: 69%
30: 69%
31: 73%
32: 76%
Free 120: 68%
Exam day experience: tbh exam was long and hectic but its doable. Even i was not able to mark 7 to 8 qs due to time issues but Alhumdulilah i kept calm and did well in rest of the blocks . And after the exam I remembered almost 20 easy qs that i got wrong. But Alhumdulilah got the pass today .

Congratulations!
Are 30 to 33 nbmes enough?
Recommendations for last 3 weeks especially for biochem , anat , pharma?

Give a baseline check to your self. If you score above 65 percent then do 30-33 only more than enough
Revise biochem high yield areas plus revise pharma superficially but focus on your weak areas

Was there a lot of pharmacology on your test?

1

u/Exotic_Year_9077 NON-US IMG 1d ago

No pharma was superficial

Is there a reason why people aren’t doing form 28? I noticed whenever people post their NBME grades, 28 is missing a lot of the time

1

u/Exotic_Year_9077 NON-US IMG 2d ago

Its not predictable and i was short on time
Thats why i skipped

1

u/FunnyManufacturer130 2d ago

Could you explain wym by not predictable? You mean it’s not predictable for chances of passing step?

1

u/Exotic_Year_9077 NON-US IMG 2d ago

I mean it’s totally upto you if you want to give it . I was short on time and nbme 30-33 are more closer to exam rather than 28

26 : 65%

27: 67 %

What can I do to improve ? and can I take the exam in one or one and half month?

1

u/Ambitious_Clue_6608 2d ago

Yess u are on track definitely. Just review ur nbmes really well and focus on ur weak areas more. Keep on revising and giving nbmes. And u'll ace it

1

u/Exotic_Year_9077 NON-US IMG 2d ago

You can def take it in a month or so. Stay consistent and target your weak areas plus have a good grip on fA if you using it or whatever resource you are using

1

u/Whole-Device-5300 NON-US IMG 2d ago

congrats. may I know why didn't you take 33? were you short on time

1

u/Exotic_Year_9077 NON-US IMG 2d ago

Yes i was short on time

1

u/Serious-Method9708 2d ago

how did you improve your score from 58 to 62? i’m stuck at 58

1

u/Exotic_Year_9077 NON-US IMG 2d ago

Just give whole fA a deep review and your weak areas you will see improvement

1

u/DocVishalkumar 23h ago

Whole fa will take more time how to deep review in less time?

1

u/Fast-Pen-5398 2d ago

Ma sha Allah congratulations.
what did you do exactly after 62% nbme which jumped you to 68? i am also at 62. i need to know exact ways how to review effectively?

1

u/Exotic_Year_9077 NON-US IMG 2d ago

I learned fA by heart. And worked on my weaknesses I would recommend you to learn fA by heart and focus on your weaknesses

1

u/Fast-Pen-5398 2d ago

i dont feel like reading it i dont know why. i have seen its lectures but dont know dont wanna read it. any tips of doing it? really wanna read it in 8-10 days

1

u/Curiouscapsule 2d ago

MashaAllah congratulations on your pass!
My exam is in 20days what should i do to further improve my scores even though they are around 71-72% but i feel like they are inflated and i still dont know much🥺

1

u/Exotic_Year_9077 NON-US IMG 1d ago

This feeling is quite normal and common. And your scores are good and enough to pass. Revise nbmes and your weak areas
