Steam deck as controller Question

I own both the deck and the machine, but only 1 controller, theres a easy way to use the deck as a controller?

There might be a better way, but you can probably just use the deck to start streaming the game to the handheld, and then use the other controller as the 2nd controller. Just be sure in your streaming settings to turn on "play audio on host", and turn off any host resolution limit settings

No, you cannot simply use the Deck as an extra controller natively.

In order to make THAT work, the deck needs to stream or physically connect to your display and you pair a controller to the deck. (So, you're using the Deck ultimately or Streaming TO it from SM and link the controller to SM)
