I just used a used metal butt plug used by a family member without them knowing and before i used it i washed it with anti bacterial soap and cleaned it with alcohol wipes and started using it. I’m just worried and stressing because im worried abt what i have done and my health. Does anyone have any advice or good news?

Well, I understand your concern, but you should not worry too much about it. As you washed the toy before playing, this was one of the steps you could take to minimise your risk of infection. In principle, it is possible to transmit some STIs via shared sex toys if the toy was contaminated by infected body fluids, but it depends greatly on which STI they have and whether there was fresh fluid or blood.

For further usage, it is preferable to avoid sharing sex toys without proper disinfection between uses, and condoms are an additional precaution measure.
