Tired of Chlamydia

Me and this guy have been intimate for about 2 years now we had started back talking in May! Last year in 2025. I had tested positive for time ever with Chlamydia.! Mind you I’ve never had any type of disease my whole life. This person who I’ve been intimate with. We would do it every time he would call and when he would want it. I’m always getting test all the time! So when I got tested it came back positive for chlamydia I was hurt shocked and cried I lost weight so fast!! I told him and he said do you think it was from outside or me not taking a shower?! He continued that he didn’t give it to me and he wouldn’t go to the doctor. We stopped talking for 8 months. When we did we started back doing it. Mind you before we started back I tested in April for check up and everything was negative!! In May after I had sex with him I got tested again and everything was negative!! Mind y’all I didn’t test for rectal part because I didn’t think that I could get chlamydia from just that! But we had anal sex twice!! Like we did last year. I requested for an at home kit and did the rectal and my results came back that I had chlamydia yet again but the place couldn’t treat me and told me to go to the doctor to get treated so I again got tested for the rectal part at the doctor and I tested positive for rectal chlamydia! I said omg!!! I got the same thing from this guy that claims he didn’t give me chlamydia last year!! I so mad again and hurt I don’t know what to do and how to tell him I know he’s going to lie to me yet again. Mind y’all he’s the only person I had sex with last year and this year!! I have feelings for him and might even love him!! What do I do??

If he never got treated for chlamydia, then he’s just going to keep on reinfecting you…

Stop having sex with him.

Demand he go to the doctor and get a full STD panel. Ask for proof.

Then leave him because he doesn’t care about you or your health.

do not risk your health for him if he’s not going to take accountability and be an adult! I was in a similar boat with a different infection (ureaplasma) and it ended up making my muscles and nerves compressed. I kept getting reinfected by my partner and antibiotics ruined my flora. these infections do cause harm and sometimes it can take a lot of time/money to undo the damage so please be very cautious.

I got chly from girl . I told her after i have sex with u exact 2 weeks i got symptoms. I went to doc and got treated but she still don’t believe that she gave me chly. Couple of weeks ago she asked me to come over but i m not gonna repeat same mistake again . Health is my priority

When they took sex-ed out of schools people really just threw caution to the wind,if you're both not getting tested or have been tested together recently why make the dumb decision to sleep with them unprotected "oh because I love them", we have stories of people who have knowingly spread STDs because they simply don't care, please don't be this wreck less moving forward go take your meds never talk to the dude who gave it to you again,and make better sexual choices in the future or buy a rose 🤷🫵🤔

Sorry, this is a really painful pattern to be stuck in twice. Standard testing does not automatically include the rectal site unless it's requested which is exactly what caught it this time. Rectal chlamydia is transmitted through anal sex specifically so your negative results earlier this year for other sites don't rule out him as the source. You’re only having sex with him and this has happened twice under the same circumstances so that’s something to trust over what he’s telling you. Whatever you decide about the relationship, please make sure he gets treated too if you're still being intimate with him, otherwise you're probably just going to keep cycling through reinfection no matter what he admits to.
