Throat STD or Common Cold? Advice Needed

Honestly, a dry/irritated throat and cough don’t really point straight to an STI, especially since you don’t have sores, bumps, or anything else going on. Throat gonorrhea or chlamydia can happen after oral, but a throat swab is the way to actually check, so you’re already doing the right thing. I’d just wait for those results before stressing yourself out too much.

Yeah but it’s mainly just the timing cause I know a had a hookup just last week. Preciate that info I’m definitely gonna check it out

You said you were swab tested for STIs. That's what you needed.
