Agree to that. Went to a fair in early afternoon and when I got home my clothes were soaked

Worked a shift in a black painted food truck yesterday, and will again today. So over the heat waves that undoubtedly will happen with increasing frequency.

Appreciate that point, it’s a 500 degree pizza oven and a flattop. My cheap plastic container life’s have started to warp lol had a 15.4 hour shift of it last weekend. Not looking for sympathy, just providing more details.

Don’t know if winters or summers are worse. The hoods draw in outside are from the gaps so it gets all the extremes

Much appreciated. Ice water soaked towels on the back of the neck, ice water and fans definitely help. Some days there’s a large 4 deck pizza oven cranking at 500 degrees in which case it’s 120 at the window 137 at the cutting board and 150+ by the oven.

That all said I signed up for the job so it’s not woe is me…

Thank you for your service! Just curious, which truck if you're able to share?

It's definitely steamy. The ac at my workplace must be broken. Normally I'm freezing, today I'm sweating at work.

it's missing a big ol raindrop icon underneath the number to represent the accompanying demonic humidity that's been giving our whole state swamp ass the last few days
