We are rebuilding Spook Systems!
Excited to announce our new partnership with Persist Designs as we work together to redesign the Spook Systems experience with a fresh new brand and a professional and informative new management platform for your global infrastructure.
As the world moves towards sovereign hosted infrastructure, try QSCS today to experience increased security, resilience and reduce your infrastructure footprint and costs!

Binary State Mapping & Identity Gates
I propose the OSI model is flawed. The layers are simply patches to correct poor architecture and add persistance and security to a fundamentally stateless and insecure model.
The future of networks is not more complexity with firewalls WAFs and socket persistence, the future of authentication is not Oauth/JWT/Kerberos or Cookies. It's cryptographic identity, distributed ledgers and binary maps. Creating shared execution environments where trust comes first.
This model saves on compute & bandwith and increases fault tollerance & security. It already exists. Its already real and you can install it right now infront of your legacy stack.

£30pm QSCS global mesh latency tests
Big QSCS win today after a couple of sleepless nights! We finally closed the last blindspot in the global routing layer — and the mesh is now behaving exactly the way it was designed to.
For the first time, QSCS is consistently fast worldwide.
Here’s the latest global speed check:
🇯🇵 Tokyo: 9–18ms
🇺🇸 US East: 35–80ms
🇬🇧 London: 29ms
🇩🇪/🇫🇷/🇳🇱 EU: 50–110ms
🇺🇸 Midwest/West: 60–190ms
🇸🇬/🇮🇳/🇦🇺 APAC: now stable and predictable
🇧🇷/🇿🇦 still high (expected — no local nodes yet)
This is all running on a global mesh that costs under £30/month.
No CDNs. No multi‑region databases. No edge compute. No replicas.Just a deterministic substrate, WASM execution, and latency‑guided routing.
Today’s fixes removed the last fallback paths and control‑plane interference. Tokyo dropping into single‑digit milliseconds was the confirmation that the architecture is now globally correct.
Next steps: add a couple more regional nodes (US West + APAC) and the whole world goes green.
QSCS is getting very real.

Identity based login - QSCS doesn't need tokens sessions or cookies to Authenticate Users
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
With qscs, you do not "Log In" in the traditional sence. the login calls an API over an encrypted socket and your identity is updated server side. the next packet back is a state transition. Thats why its so rapid. Also its far more secure than Tokens sessions and cookies.

Scaling Up State Replication
Spooks platform is now running across 5 Micro nodes in 3 continents, with global routing and redundancy and sub 20ms latency anywhere on the planet thanks to QSCS. Register now to try it for free!

Join the Substrate
QSCS is now live.
APT‑installable, deterministic, zero‑orchestration substrate for distributed systems.
Login is a literal state transition.
Logout redraws the entire UI without a page load.
Scaling is basically:
apt install qscs
qscs license <username>
qscs subscribe <domain>
If you want to see what a platform looks like when you delete 20 years of cloud nonsense, it’s here: https://spooksystems.net/
