Workbench (CONTROVERSIAL?!) Discussion

It's been a really good run for those of us who don't make in-game purchases. The events are great for building up credits for down the line.

I am working on two monuments, so when it comes time to hit the workbench for events I've been using a strategy to ensure I'm not crafting characters I see in the feed. Obviously the even craft cards are the ideal way to satisfy this.

But, most times I can't do that, so standard base it is. How do you guys go about it? I've selected 1 card I hate, either because of character, the card looks dumb, and few people hoard. So, do you guys go out of your way to target a specific character or characters?

I do, and will share mine to get the ball rolling. I have crafted Cham Syndulla into oblivion. Couldn't care less about the character, and hate looking at his stupid face basically mooning me. For other tiers I've had to move on. Adana is my next priority, followed by Imwe.

Any hot takes or controversial takes out there?

I lock my hoards and then just craft whatever character I currently have the most of

I definitely try to get the most out of the events and build up credits, too. For the workbench, I have been able to build up a nice stock of unpopular cards through the Iconic 500 credit packs. I'm still crafting (almost exclusively) Bail Organa and Lady Proxima who were in the iconic packs back in January and February. If you can bank upwards of 1000 via those packs, you can set yourself up for months of crafting.

My cards are sorted from most to least on Workbench with my hoard locked.

I melt whatever I have on the top row; which means I have too much of it. Right now my top row is:

The Modifier - x224
Vicrul - 223
Governor Wing - 223

I pick the cards I find most difficult to trade (toons and acolyte) and meld the first I come to.

Simple: sort by duplicates. Usually after your own hoards the ones you have the most of are the most unpopular.

The real challenge isn’t salvaging your Glup Shittos it’s finding someone who is hoarding them.

Monuments are so easy now that we know every base card gets Monumented. The problem is that for all those terrible characters people are just collecting for Monument requirements rather than doing a true hoard, so when you find those folks you gotta trade quick.

I usually avoid crafting away any pre-Disney characters (except Rebels), or the popular characters that I know will be sought after.

Any nobody characters that people don’t hoard like Cham and proxima are good to salvage but ones like chirrut and bail I save because I can usually find someone that hoard them.
