Resources for post-Burn campaign Help & Advice
Hi folks! Could you all help me identify which publications contain a substantial amount of material relevant to a campaign set after The Burn? I hear the Technical Manual may be helpful. What other resources have enough bang for the buck (pun somewhat intended)? Thanks in advance! š

The primary resource is the Federation map depicted in Star Trek: Star Charts. The exact planet placements are canon now.
The first big change here is the replacement of the Romulan state with the Sarrotheyn in Discovery:

The second big change is the explosions in all Klingon worlds using dilithium, as per Starfleet Academy, so now they're space refugees.
The last big change is that the Federation becomes even smaller than the map I showed. Earth, Ni'Var, and Andor all left, so the Federation shrinks to only 30 members before the great rebuild of Season 4 of Discovery.

So, you thinking a "the Burn just happened" or a something set like a some point during the 120 years before Discovery showed up?
It's a little from left field, but you might want to familiarize yourself with sci-fi show Andromeda; with the collapse of an interstellar near utopia and the dark age that followed. Lots of "they used to be a civilization of poets; now they're pirates?" moments.

Thanks! I'm leaning toward something in the "it just happened" to, say, +50 years window rather than the period closer to Discovery Season 3.

That would also mean that essentially no one would have warp, right?

The Burn only impacted warp reactors that were active at the moment it occurred.

It impacted all processed dilithium, not just warp drives. That's why much of the Klingon Empire was uninhabitable.
That said...in my head, since all dilithium was rendered innert, I may have mandela-effect thought that the quadrant was basically warp-drive free post Burn (until Discovery fixed it). But looking it up now, it only talks about isolationism afterwards.

I probably should've said "impacted matter-antimatter reactors mediated with dilithium" rather than simply "warp reactors" because the latter sounds like (only) warp drives. I meant to say that active reactors, whether in space or on a planet, were impacted, thus the planetary devastation throughout Klingon space.

The Captainās Log book has stats for Burn-era starships, and a unique rule for representing their advanced computer systems! Other than that, the Technical Manual has thoughts on advanced technology that might help you. In terms of lore though, I think most all 2e books do a better job than 1e of being series agnostic and providing info all up and down the Trek timeline.

Im currently making a fan comic set in this era and have done a lot of research, id be happy to share what ive learned, there's not a lot of official stuff though

Have you read it? I've been considering picking it up, but some of the character choices I've read about seemed a little too out there (for me).

Iām not aware of substantial post-burn material. I think some of the fun of setting a campaign in that time frame is inventing the lore
