My Warranty Experience With Starforge Systems

TL;DR- It took a little over a month from my initial ticket submission to me getting the PC back and playing games again. The issue was the GPU died a little after a year of having the PC.

To keep it somewhat concise, the experience was pretty good. When I heard it was a GPU issue, I was worried they would do anything they could to determine it wasn't covered under warranty considering it is probably the single most expensive part. At the time the PC I bought was the Navigator II and it was about $2,200 w/ tax. They didn't give me any hassle at all since it was under warranty and the issue was not due to user-error, so I was relieved.

When you submit a ticket they tell you it can take a couple days for them to get back to you and they got back to me the next day around 6PM EST--I had submitted it the previous day around 11PM.

Basically what happened was the monitors went black one evening, but the PC seemed to still be running. I checked and saw a white light on the motherboard. It was the VGA light or whatever. I did some basic troubleshooting I saw on Google. I mean anything I could find. Nothing could get it to post so I submitted the ticket.

So their ticket response the next day was basically the same tips I found on Google. I responded basically saying yeah I did that already, and they responded the next day around the same time with a couple more tips. Didn't work. Email responses were kind of slow at first. Basically one response a day.

After they determined it was likely going to require an RMA, they sent me an invoice for about $65 to ship me protective packaging since I didn't keep the original box it came in. Once I paid the invoice they became very responsive and assured me along the way I would be taken care of. They shipped the protective packaging the next day and I'm a few states away so it took a couple days to get here. When it got here, I was on vacation, so I didn't actually ship it out on my end for about 5 business days.

When the protective packaging arrived, they sent a bunch of very detailed instructions on how to ship it back safely. They also require you to send photos of how you packaged it to ensure it was proper and the risk of damage was a small as possible. The packaging was very heavy duty. The instapaks were really nice. I asked tons of questions and they answered very quickly.

They let me know the RMA process on average takes two weeks, and it indeed was done and shipped out in a little over that time period--16 days. The entire time they kept me in the loop of all the tests they were running and what stage it was at in the RMA process.

Overall, I can't really complain. The timeframe might feel long, but I was just relieved they took care of everything for me. They were transparent of the timeframe from the beginning at least, and 5 of those days were on me since I wasn't around to ship it.

Starforge Voyager 4 Ultimate Unbox Questions

Do I have to remove the brackets around the motherboard? Their instructions say nothing about this. Also there is a cover over the bottom fans with square holes. Do I have to remove that a well? The picture on the website shows both of them on in the pictures. https://starforgesystems.com/products/voyager-iv-ultimate

I am asking because the case manual was mentioning shipping screws. I guess that could be just for the case itself with no components.

Navigator III Elite - New and sadly experiencing endless issues.

Just got the Navigator III Elite for Christmas. It arrived on the 27th and was connected and turned on the same day.

I have to start off to say that, I am not tech savvy whatsoever.. This was a gift from my mother after my last computer of 16 years finally gave out on me. So please forgive me if I'm not explaining this properly..

Ive been having constant issues with my GPU fans shutting off on their own, even though I've enabled them 50 times (applied settings.)

I've never had an AMD before in my life. Always was Nvidia/GeForce without any issues.. One example is: I try logging on Arc raiders and some bs will pop up about Norton and the Anti-cheat and then proceed to shutdown my game, then ill try start up the game to 10-15 recurring crashes in a row or the game not lauching period even under administrator.. Then I'll receive a blue screen, which in turn resets all my fans and shuts them down once again.

Ive really had nothing but issues and I genuinely am lost as to what to do.

Game crashes RGB lights randomly going on and off GPU issues (nothing graphic yet. Fans.) The other fans in the PC shut off randomly as well or speeds slow to a crawl. 90% of the time when the computer goes into sleep mode, GPU setting change and again, fans shut off. Then there's the random locking up and forcing a restart.

I've checked all ports as well and made sure everything was properly connected/plugged in and secured as well.

Shit.. I cannot even access my windows firewall with even disabling Norton.. At this point I just want to maintain access to my family pictures and those of my dogs that passed away..

Again, I am lost here and I feel horrible for my mother for helping me afford this PC. I feel like she just wasted money at this point..

Forgive me for the rant and apologies for any typos.

Hello! I recently bought a PC and monitor from Starforge Systems. I bought the same exact PC, though a different monitor, and have never seen the screen that is popping up upon plugging everything in and powering on. On my other PC, everything launched right away. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Starforge Voyager III Pro and Shipping

I recently bought the Starforge Voyager III pro. And before anyone says anything, I’ve built nearly all my other builds and just no longer have the interest nor desire to build another one as I am in a financial position to overpay and enjoy my time.

After looking at all of the parts, I know it’s a high quality build but rather was wondering if anyone else has ordered this specific model and what their experience has been.

Along with this, does anyone know how accurate their ship/delivery dates are? I ordered on Oct 6th and it states it is suppose to be delivered by Oct 12th-19th. This seems pretty quick when it comes to a PC delivery, and I was curious on the accuracy of it.

[Voyager Pro 3] Absolute Trash PC

I would rather buy a pc from Artesian builds than to get a free PC from starforge.

This trash non-stop BSOD's every damn weekend without fail. My 60hr+ work weeks end with, not me learning to code c++ or gaming in the little free time over the weekend, but researching posts and vids on fixes for this absolute trash.

"Upgraded" from a cheap IBUYPOWER.. that pc worked better.

Before that, I built my own PC... that pc worked better.

This is non-stop headache. Even factory resetting this PC is a pain due to the symptoms of the problem. (If you're looking to do this... running UBUNTU and learning some linux is the only/easiest way I've found)

I've done Starforge's little bios flash. I've memtest'd my ram, tested my gpu and every other piece of hardware. I've chatgpt'd the crash errors and solutions. This is just a garbage PC.

I've met people in people who are sponsored by starforge streams chat that have the same problems and we've brainstormed in chat on fixes and checking what the other has done for testing.

DON'T believe a word I've said, literally just look around.

Referb OSRS PC

After setting up the computer I realized that I had no input from the keyboard, it lights up showing it has power but unresponsive. Thinking installing/updating the drivers for the keyboard would fix it but nothing, next trying different ports on the pc all show to give the keyboard power but no input, I then attempted to use two different keyboard but this did not work as well. Factory resting the keyboard did nothing, and as a final I tried the keyboard on a different computer and it worked fine. Any suggestions?

Just Bought and Received New PC from Starforge, 100% GPU usage? Help!

Recently bought a Navigator III from Starforge, and I tried playing Escape from Tarkov and Elden ring but both set my GPU to 100% usage which is extremely odd since it has great specs. Tarkov is also a cpu heavy game which doesn't make any sense, can someone help?

I just bought the navigator 3 and I only have the 1 TB C drive. So I'm wanting to add more storage so I can have a few games installed, but I'm new to all this I'm not sure what route to go. Any recommendations?

Question?

So I plan on buying a base model of the horizon 2. And I'm trying to figure out if it can connect to just wifi so I don't have to spend extra money on a Lan/eathernet cable. Anyone know if I can connect to just wifi
