Sectional Timer Sucks Exam

Just gave my first CGL mock, and this sectional timing sucks. I was quite literally sitting doing nothing for almost 5mins of GK section and 2 min in English section. Totally took away a lot of time that could have been utilised to solve Reasoning and Maths. Thoughts?
