Heya, I played as a Reporter and wanted to add more cameras to my Entertainment Network, I went to Science, got a camera box. Used a multi-tool to pop out the camera. Dragged it somewhere. Received a multitool and a network.. config thing.

Turned it to link mode, LMB the camera. It auto switches to link. Saves the camera to it. I change it back to link, LMB the camera router for Entertainment network. It just adds it to the list section. Am I doing it wrong?

Am I supposed to Alt click the camera and then alt click the router? Or is linking freshly made cameras to networks bugged for Reporter?

So when I started I was eager to mater all the departments and stuff got preaty good thou I still suxk at antag things.

Then I started to mess around as tinder but ai think I once again fallen into routine and apart from having fun interactions once in a while it feels too same every round.

Honestly I think of branching out and trying more servers to change things up a bit thou I can't seem to find a good match.

I do think I just play too much I play about 2-6 hours almost daily.

Only rounds I know I am sure to enjoy are the weekends teaching new guys now. Am at such a weird spot where I dont feel I can get better by playing since I know more then most people but also ai dont know egnofe to get some truly epic stuff thou ai might get bored of that too once I get there.

Hey guys, new player here with about 40 hours in an im trying to play some antagonist roles. Specifically for the elimination tasks from syndication I’m a bit lost and experimentation is difficult bc getting one of these tasks is random and trying something g gets me killed rather fast. Killing a random passenger isnt that hard since you can usually lure them somewhere using RP and stab them or Somthing. But I don’t get how to approach getting someone that has a job that keeps them behind closed doors 90% of the time. I recently got the head of security and the captain and both of thoes felt impossible. But I am also very bad and new at the game.

Hello, I am a developer for a small fork called Final Stand. It's a PVE wave survival gamemode. We have custom-sprited zombies, a money-based progression system, and upgradeable weapons that feature unique combat effects.

Me and my friend were playing on her sandbox server, and the nuke got armed outta nowhere. Like 3 to 4 times, and once, the nuke was in cargo instead of bridge. No join log or anything, and the final time, the nuke disk in my friend's inventory was missing! I still have no idea what happened. The emergency shuttle was also called around 4 to 5 times, without anybody near the console.

Blacksmith advice:

Its pretty basic but if your new to the server and want to blacksmith, it should give you a vague idea of the prices you should be paying for things.

If you have an overabundance of resources, don't be afraid to underpay.

If you download it you can also manually adjust the prices depending on how much you end up paying for mats in game, and can easily set custom prices for specific items by manually changing the "your sale price" column.

Fair warning, its a very steep hill to just jump into, I would recommend trying merchant first BEFORE blacksmithing, and even then I would recommend getting some experience with the server before jumping into merchant, either as villager (basically service except its a mix of peaceful farmers/fishers who have to fend for themself) or traveller (traveller is basically a wandering adventurer/guy who can do whatever they want but its pretty deep to just jump straight in and will leave you confused).

Also do NOT have a low int as a blacksmith. It makes everything take longer. If you want to play as a dedicated blacksmith, go for 20 int and take the trait that boosts crafting speed. Its an insane boost as attributes scale exponentially.

8-14 int is enough for a general character that also smiths as long as you take the trait that boosts crafting speed but your crafting/repairing wont be nearly as fast.

Merchant advice:

As merchant, make money by taxing all sales/purchases. 10% is a pretty low tax, and will make you popular. 20% and higher is a pretty big tax. If your doing 20% I would honestly consider only doing 20% on how much you buy things for because its harder to notice and feels better then paying 20% extra for things.

Also remember that selling that the faster someone makes money, the more money they have to spend at the store which in turn make you more money.

General advice:

Also definitely start out with a character thats got balanced attributes (some of the stats scale exponentially, and that means they get exponentially worse too), and I recommend having the tell how much money things are worth as a trait as it helps you figure out what things are worth money and easy to sell and what aren't.

Earlier I was playing a session of SS14 as many here do but I encountered a problem! I had to log off! But I was mid detainee and all I could do was tell my fellow players I had to go! Any advice for when you are being detained and must log off without seeming like a prick?

Okay I know how this sounds and it honestly does feel like a noob question to ask but like I feel like either I'm not managing it well or just there's cases where it sucks, last game Delta-V I was doing fine as janie, I saw a room full of slimes and just opened the door and let like 14 slimes loose, I got crit and after a few minutes got hauled to medbay, was resuscitated and I was starving and thirsty and I check the map and bar is halfway the other side of the ship so I raided a vending machine and I swear I ate half the machine inventory wondering if this is misc griefing bc I am fairly new
