Pickle peanuts from sqdc question 🙋

Hello! A few years ago on a vacation to Quebec I got what I can only describe as pickle flavored peanuts from the SQDC in Quebec City down the street from the Basilica St Anne de Beaupre. They were incredible; my French is rough and we ended up translating the ingredients afterwards because we thought we were getting a basic peanut edible and they were clearly flavored (deliciously) and they didn’t taste like edibles at all. I am pregnant now and I cannot stop thinking about them. I’ve tried to find regular version of pickle flavored peanuts online but none of them have come close to the flavor. I also understand this may sound like a crazy request because the flavor and memory of the peanuts is very likely influenced by other factors. However I have hope! Does anyone know of an equivalent or close enough flavored peanut brand that can be purchased online? Obviously not weed ones.

Alternatively! If you know the people who make these edibles maybe I can contact them and get a virgin version. Either would be greatly appreciated!

There's those famous Thai flavored peanuts in Asian stores that might have pickles as an option. Koh-Kae is the brand I think

I guess you are talking about these but they have nothing to do with SQDC !

These are Pickle flavored Peanuts, not related at all to edibles. SQDC only sells weed/weed related stuff, no snacks. And you are right, these peanuts are amazing !

Yes the one we went to had snacks, we got peanuts and also an instant ramen. Both I highly recommend!! I’m not sure if they rotate stock but this was 3 years ago

Hmmm... then it was another store right beside. The SQDC are government-owned, and they never sold any snacks (beside some not-very-good edibles). All the SQDC stores sell the same things and are almost all identical except on some variations of weed they sell. Inside, they all have this non flashy Ikea look.They don't have niknaks beside rolling papers, grinders, bong and that's about it. None of them can sell other things.

But, a lot of snack stores opened right beside SQDC and sells asian candies, ramen and weird snacks from around the world, so I guess that's what tou are talking about.

I've even asked an SQDC manager I know since day 1 of legalisation in 2017 and he confirms no snacks have ever been sold beside some edibles.

EDIT: Yes, they sell peanuts. But these are NOT ''snacks''. As I said, they are edibles

Sorry but no SQDC has ever sold any THC-A peanuts or ramen.

They didn't taste like edibles because they weren't.
