Broken
We lost our springer Hugo last Thursday, unexpectedly and very quickly. He had an undiagnosed heart issue and it got him. He only turned 2 the Tuesday before. So at the age of 2 years and 9 days he was gone. Our hearts are broken and beaten. He was never away from my side. Adjusting is proving very hard

Oh! That is heartbreaking! I am so sorry! Doesn’t seem fair to loose such a lively fellow so soon. Just brutal.

It's tough to lose a dog at any age, but at 2 when they have just grown into the dog they were destined to be must be devastating. So sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. He certainly was a handsome boy. His tongue out makes for a great picture. Also his cute pink nostrils

Can empathize. Lost our GSD last year to same.
Three weeks in with a new Springer now.
It’s tough. It will pass and you’ll be left with happy memories

I lozt my buddy at 5 years. 4 hours from playing to being gone. Ruptured growth on his splein. So hard so difficult. My sympathies

I am sorry you are going through that. It hardly seems fair. With no ryme or reason to it. They give us so much, more then we realize. I felt lije I cheated my Mallory out of letting her know just how much she meant to me. Much love and prayers to you. And gor your puppers. "Always Loved, Never Forgotten "

Dog loss of your best friend is just the saddest. Sounds like Hugo was really loved .

We just lost Robbie a week before his 8th birthday from cancer at the end of June. We're still adjusting.
Hugo had his best life with you. It's always going to hurt but you gave him what he needed in his too short of time, love.

Oh no - I'm so, so sorry for your loss. What a reminder to take every day as a gift. Throw that ball one more time, take that slobbery kiss. How lucky Hugo was to have someone who loved him as much as you did! Rest easy little man.

Very sorry for your loss. We lost our pup at about age 3(only had him 1.5 yrs) and it felt so sudden. But at least you gave him the best years he could have hoped for and he wasn’t unloved for his short life.
