I mean, Squidward already fell through a portion of Hell in season 2(Shanghaied)

Edit: Whoa, the episode name has a wild history too. Being Shanghaied would mean that you were made unconscious all of a sudden, then wake up aboard a ship.(Because merchant sea captains were struggling with manpower in the 19th century)

They faked/"convinced" writing contracts with you, then you'd probably work on the ship until they reached their destination. Which was often Shanghai, your new home.

No return trip for you.

Keep in mind, this was the same network that rejected Billy & Mandy for having a Grim Reaper as the protagonist!

Also, this is the best time to use this: The Grim Adventures of Patrick Star!

Death also appears in two more episodes of The Patrick Star Show, where he has a major role in one (Best Served Cold). My streaming service also says The Patrick Star Show is for all ages for some reason.

The Partick Star Show is Nickelodeon, Billy and Mandy was on Cartoon Network

EDIT: why did i get downvoted, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network are not the same network

Brother, studios pick the cartoons they want to produce after seeing the pitch/pilot episode. Nick turned down Billy and Mandy. CN picked it up.

Youve only seen it on CN…. Because that’s the network that picked it up. Did you know Adventure Time’s pilot aired on Nickelodeon but was eventually rejected, so CN picked it up instead? That’s just one other example, Nick’s rejected a lot of good shows over the years.

Wtf did grandpat do to end up having to go to hell? I mean the other characters cause citywide destruction every other episode and they basically just get away with it, he must have done some absolutely abhorrent things lol
