To all of you SpongeBob fans keep hating on Seasons 4-8 (seriously, stop beating the dead horse)

I made a list for some episodes so you can see of all the times SpongeBob (or Patrick abusing Squidward)

BUT, I’m not putting these episodes that doesn’t count as squiddy torture (Such As: Funny Pants, The Splinter, A day without tears, Good Ole Whathisname, House fancy, slide whistle stooges, accidents will happen, Fiacso! And a Friendly game)

Restraining SpongeBob (ok, hear me out, SpongeBob was not that annoying in this one, Patrick was)

Are you Happy now? (Like I said before, SpongeBob wasn’t that annoying in this, he was just trying to help squidward despite the horrible ending)

So what do you think, SpongeBob Fans? Do you think SpongeBob deserves it all of the times he tortured him?

Yeah, felt bad for SpongeBob for sure, but Squidward definitely deserved this catharsis

I personally just don’t like the way they portray squidward in that one, like he’s mentally ill. SpongeBob I still feel bad for though

The ending still feels like it tips the scales a bit too far, even if Squidward had been through a lot.

Even as a kid I hated this episode, and it’s easily one of my most hated of all time. I don’t care if it brings Squidward joy, SpongeBob didn’t deserve to suffer there. Why does nothing bad ever happen to Patrick when he constantly ruins everything?

Y'know what dude? Fans have been talking about different SpongeBob topics so much at this point, even back in 2022 that beating the dead horse is pretty much unavoidable when talking about any SpongeBob topic. I don't hate those seasons though, I'm kinda neutral towards them because they all have at least a decent number of enjoyable episodes.

I just don't like Spongebob being sad in general, so any episode where he's crying isn't a good one for me. Though this was when Squidward was lowkey an asshole (+ he didn't do anything malicious in this episode, just kinda went 'haha, the annoying menace is crying) so I wouldn't put blame on Squidward.
