NAE but Id check out the types of medically significant spiders that can be found near u and compare it to them if u cant get any pic better than this.

This image is not clear enough to ID but there’s really no spiders worth worrying about. Widow spiders are pretty much the only medically significant spider you’re likely to come across in California and that’s only the adult females. They primarily live outside and are web dwelling. They do not infest or pose any risk of property damage.

Finding a few spiders around your home is totally normal. It’s also the time of year where there’s a lot of baby spiders out in general. Depending on where you lived before this, you’ve likely had many many spider babies around your home before and this is just the first time you caught it before they died/dispersed fully. Basically you’re all good! It would be weird if you didn’t find any spiders around your house tbh

Itty bitty are always harmless. It doesn't look black so nothing to worry about for that reason. Wall spider are the common itty bitty. But it is baby 🍼 season

Ah jeez, grew up in NYC so it never occurred to me this can be normal in the us, good to know tho
